If the blockchain status already shows "Success," but your OKX account still does not show the funds, this usually does not mean your money is lost. It means one step has not finished yet. Use your TxID and follow the steps below. Most problems can be located.

Step 1: Use the TxID to check status on a block explorer

This is the most important step. Copy the TxID and search it on the correct block explorer. Use Etherscan for Ethereum, BscScan for BSC, Blockchain.com or another Bitcoin explorer for BTC, and Solscan for Solana. If you cannot find the right explorer, use OKLink; it supports more than 60 major networks.

After checking, confirm three things:

  • Status is "Success" or "Confirmed": If not, the transaction is not complete yet. The network may be congested or the gas fee was too low. You need to wait.

  • The receiving address is correct: Check the "To" field and make sure it is your dedicated OKX deposit address. If the address does not match, the money has already been sent and the chance of recovery is very small.

  • Confirmations are enough: Different chains need different numbers of confirmations. BTC may need 3–6 confirmations (30–60 minutes). ETH may need 12 or more confirmations (5–10 minutes). If confirmations are not enough yet, wait a little longer.

Step 2: Check common failure scenarios

Scenario 1: Wrong network selected This is the biggest pitfall. You deposit USDT on the BSC network, but your OKX account chose the ETH network. The address may look the same, but the chain is different, so the assets will not be credited to your account.

Scenario 2: Missing or wrong Tag/Memo When depositing coins such as XRP or ATOM, you must include a Tag or Memo along with the wallet address. If you miss it or enter it wrong, the assets arrive, but the system cannot automatically credit them to your account.

Scenario 3: The receiving platform does not support that network OKX has clearly said it currently does not support USDT deposits via the BSC network. USDT sent from there may be marked as a "non-tradable asset."

Scenario 4: Blockchain is confirmed but the platform does not show it There is a small delay between "on-chain confirmation" and "platform credit," usually a few minutes. If nothing shows after 1–2 hours, contact customer support.

Step 3: Find the self-service recovery entry

If the chain is confirmed and the deposit still has not arrived, and you have ruled out the cases above, use the official appeal channel.

Path: OKX App → Assets → Deposit Records or Bills → find this deposit record → tap it and check whether there is a "Feedback" or "Appeal" entry.

If there is no appeal entry in the record, contact OKX support directly:

  • Submit a ticket in the in-app "Help Center"

  • Provide the TxID, deposit address, transfer amount, and coin

High risk: Once an on-chain transaction is confirmed, OKX cannot reverse or undo it. If someone claims they can "intercept" or "recover" mis-sent assets and asks for your private key or an "unlock fee," it is absolutely a scam. Complete all steps only inside the official OKX App or official website.

Completion standard

After submitting an appeal, check Deposit Records. The status should change from "Pending" to "Completed," and the assets should appear in your spot account balance. This is usually solved within 24 hours. If it takes longer, contact support again with your ticket number to follow up.
