The chain status shows "Success," but your Binance account still hasn't received the deposit. Many users have seen this. Don't panic. As long as the TxID can be found, your funds are likely safe and just stuck somewhere in the process.

Step 1: Don't panic. Use the TxID to confirm the on-chain status

The TxID is the unique record of this transaction. Copy the TxID and check it on the correct block explorer.

Use Etherscan for Ethereum, BscScan for BSC, and Tronscan for TRC20.

Check these three things:

  • Status is Success: If it shows Success, the chain has confirmed the transaction.

  • Receiving address is correct: Confirm the address in the "To" field is the exact deposit address Binance generated for you.

  • Confirmations are enough: Different chains require different confirmation counts for exchanges. BTC may need 3-6 confirmations, Ethereum 12 or more, while TRC20 usually only needs about 1 minute. If confirmations are still not enough, wait a bit longer.

Step 2: Check the two most common problems

If the on-chain status is fine, it is most likely one of these situations:

  • Wrong network selected: This is the most direct cause. For example, you chose the BSC network for the deposit, but Binance generated an ETH network address for you. Binance has repeatedly stressed that once assets leave the platform, they may not be recoverable because transfers are irreversible.

  • Missing Tag or Memo: When depositing tokens such as XRP or TON, you must include the Tag or Memo. If you forget it, the system cannot automatically match the funds to your account. Binance has a dedicated self-service appeal channel for this situation.

Step 3: If more than 1 hour has passed, use "Self-Service Recovery"

If confirmations are already enough, the wait time is far beyond the normal range (for example, Ethereum has waited more than 1 hour), and the on-chain status is normal, then follow this process.

Steps:

  1. Log in to Binance and go to "Wallet" -> "Deposit History".

  2. Find "Self-Service Recovery" or a similar appeal entry.

  3. Enter the TxID you copied earlier. The system will automatically read the on-chain information.

  4. Follow the prompts to add the required information and submit.

Final check

After submitting the "Self-Service Recovery" request, you can check the status in the [Application Records] page. Most valid deposit requests are resolved within 24 hours.

High risk warning: Binance officially stresses that it does not provide any "withdrawal reversal" or "reverse transfer" service. If someone claims they can help you "reverse" or "intercept" the transaction, it is definitely a scam. All official processes are completed through the official website or the customer service system inside the App.
