Internal transfers indeed don't have a TxID because they never touch the blockchain network. Funds are moved directly on Binance's internal ledger, never on-chain, so there is no blockchain transaction hash. To trace where the money went, you rely on the internal transfer ID and the recipient details.
Why Internal Transfers Lack a TxID
Blockchain withdrawals go through the blockchain network, and each transaction generates a unique TxID (transaction hash) that can be followed on a block explorer. But internal transfers (also called peer-to-peer transfers) are fund movements between Binance users. They only involve balance changes on the exchange's internal ledger and do not create an on-chain transaction, so there is no TxID.
In your transaction history, the TxID field for such transfers will show Internal or an internal number like INNER_WITHDRAW_Number, not a 64-character hash.
Verify Destination: Use Pay ID / UID / Email / Phone
You don't trace internal transfers via TxID. Instead, you confirm the destination using the recipient information you entered when sending. Binance supports four methods to identify the receiver:
Binance UID: a 9-digit number unique to every Binance account. You can find it on your account homepage or profile.
Email address: the receiver's registered email.
Phone number: the receiver's registered phone number.
Binance Pay ID: you can find it in the app under [Pay] at the top or in your profile.
When you initiate the transfer, the method you choose will be recorded, and that recipient detail will appear in the transaction record. If the recipient says they didn't receive the funds, the first step is to double-check whether you entered the email/phone/UID incorrectly.
How to Check Your Internal Transfer Records
Even though you can't find a blockchain TxID, you can always check the internal transfer record on Binance.
Web: Go to [Wallet] → [Spot] → [Withdraw] → [Recent Withdrawals], find the transfer, and the details will show the internal transfer ID.
App: Go to [Wallet] → [Transaction History] → select the [Withdraw] category.
If you run into problems (for example, the recipient claims they did not receive it), the information you give to customer support is the internal transfer ID (the number labeled INNER_WITHDRAW_xxx or Internal), not a TxID.
Risk reminder: Internal transfers are instant and fee-free. If you sent a transfer but the other party says it didn't arrive, don't rush to repeat the operation — check your own transaction history first. If the status shows "Completed," then verify the recipient method (email/phone/UID) you used. Entering the wrong recipient information is the most common root of this issue.
After the Transfer
How to verify: In [Wallet] - [Transaction History], find this transfer record, confirm the status is "Completed," and that the recipient information matches what you entered. If the recipient is someone you know, ask them to screenshot their deposit history — internal transfers also appear in the recipient's deposit history and are marked as
Internal.Next step: If the status shows "Completed" but the recipient insists they didn't get it, send them a screenshot of the internal transfer ID and have them contact Binance customer support with that ID. There's no need to search for a TxID on-chain, because one doesn't exist.
