If an OKX withdrawal fails and there is no TxID, it means the withdrawal request was never broadcast to the blockchain.

Broadcasting is the first step in the withdrawal process. The OKX Help Center clearly states that a TxID is generated only after the withdrawal request has been processed and successfully broadcast onto the blockchain. If you cannot find a TxID, the funds are still inside OKX, and the transaction does not exist on-chain.

Prerequisites

  • You are logged into your OKX account.

  • You can access the Assets > History page.

  • You know the initiation time and amount of the withdrawal request.

Step 1: Check TxID Status in Withdrawal History

This is the direct basis for determining whether the request has been broadcast.

Open the OKX App or website, go to Assets > History > Assets, and locate the withdrawal record.

Scenario A: No TxID is found. The page only shows "Withdrawing" or "Pending withdrawal" without a copyable hash string. This means the request is still in OKX's internal queue and has not been broadcast to the blockchain. The cause may be high platform processing volume or queuing; the official source does not specify an exact abnormal processing time.

Scenario B: A TxID exists but no on-chain record is found. Copy the TxID and search it on a blockchain explorer (e.g., oklink.com). It shows "Transaction not found". This indicates the request has been accepted but the transaction has not yet been successfully broadcast; keep waiting.

Completion criteria: You have confirmed whether the withdrawal record contains a TxID, and whether the transaction can be found on a blockchain explorer.

Step 2: What to Do When Not Broadcast

A withdrawal request that has not been broadcast means the assets are still in your OKX account; the balance has simply been reserved awaiting processing.

What to do:

  • If it shows "Withdrawing" and no TxID is generated after more than 1 hour, you can contact OKX support via the Help Center to inquire about the queue status.

  • If the status is "Pending withdrawal", the system has not yet started processing the request. Just wait patiently; OKX processes requests in submission order and manual intervention is not possible.

Completion criteria: You have determined whether you need to contact support or just continue waiting.

Step 3: Troubleshooting After Broadcast with Abnormal Status

If you have a TxID and can find the transaction record on a blockchain explorer, but the status is not "Success", the following situations apply:

On-chain StatusDescriptionAction
Pending (Confirming)Transaction has been broadcast, waiting for miners to confirmContinue waiting; usually takes a few minutes to tens of minutes
Success but not credited by recipientOn-chain success, problem lies with the receiving sideVerify: 1) Is the receiving address correct? 2) Are the deposit and withdrawal networks the same? 3) Is the Tag/Memo correctly entered?
FailureBroadcast failureContact OKX support; possible reasons include network congestion or insufficient fee

Completion criteria: Based on the on-chain status, you have a clear next step.

Risk Reminder

Once the withdrawal status changes to "Completed" or a TxID is generated, the assets have left the OKX platform and cannot be canceled or recalled from OKX. If you discover you selected the wrong network, entered a wrong address, or wrong Tag/Memo at this point, the only remedy is to contact the receiving platform's support for assistance. Never trust anyone claiming they can "reverse your on-chain transaction".

Verification After the Procedure

Find the corresponding transaction in your OKX withdrawal history:

  • No TxID → Assets have not left OKX. Wait or contact support to check queue status.

  • TxID present and blockchain explorer shows "Success" → On-chain completed, funds are with the recipient. Contact the receiving platform to verify the deposit.

  • TxID present but shows "Pending" → Wait for confirmation to complete.

Verification channels: OKX App/Website Assets > History > Assets page, and the OKLink blockchain explorer (oklink.com).
