Why Doesn't an OKX Internal Transfer Have a TxID?
An OKX internal transfer does not have a TxID because the transaction never touches the blockchain—it is processed entirely within the platform's internal database, moving funds directly from one account to another without using the blockchain network, so there is no on-chain transaction hash.

Think of an OKX internal transfer as "internal bookkeeping" within the platform. It's similar to a transfer within the same bank branch, which doesn't need to go through the SWIFT system and therefore has no SWIFT reference number. This transaction will only appear in your OKX account statement and cannot be found on any blockchain explorer.
Prerequisites
-
You have completed an OKX internal transfer (to a UID, phone number, or email).
-
You know the approximate time and amount of the transfer to help locate it in your statement.
Step 1: Confirm That You Actually Made an 'Internal Transfer'
First, confirm your operation type:
Case A: You selected "Transfer" within OKX and entered an OKX UID, phone number, or email as the recipient
-
This is an internal transfer, and there will be no TxID. The statement will show "Internal Transfer Record" or "Transfer", and it is normal that there is no TxID field.
Case B: You selected "Withdraw" and entered an external wallet address or another exchange address
-
This is not an internal transfer; it's an on-chain withdrawal. If you withdraw to an external address, a TxID will be generated. If the withdrawal is successful but no TxID appears in the statement, it means the withdrawal may still be processing within the platform and has not been broadcast to the blockchain yet. If a TxID is not generated after more than one hour, contact customer support (source: OKX Help Center, 2026-07-19).
Completion criteria: Confirm whether you are in Case A or Case B. For Case A, you do not need to look for a TxID; for Case B, you need to follow the withdrawal not arrived process.
Step 2: Find the Internal Transfer Record in Your Statement
If you need proof of this transfer for bookkeeping or reconciliation:
-
App: Open the OKX app → [Assets] → tap the [History] icon at the top right → [Assets].
-
Web: Log in to OKX → [Assets] → [Funds Center] → [Statement].
-
Find the transfer record for the corresponding date in the list. An internal transfer will appear as "Transfer" with an amount and direction that match your operation.
Completion criteria: You have clearly identified this transfer record in the statement list.
Step 3: Verify the Record Details
When you open the record, the page usually displays:
-
Transfer type (Internal Transfer)
-
Transfer time
-
Transfer amount and currency
-
Recipient identifier (UID or masked phone number/email)
Note: The record details will not contain a TxID field. There may be an "Order ID" or "Transaction Number" at the top of the statement page, but that is an internal platform reference number, not a blockchain TxID, and cannot be used for on-chain queries.
Completion criteria: Confirm that the record information is correct and understand clearly that the absence of a TxID is normal.
Common Misunderstanding
Confusing Internal Transfers with On-Chain Withdrawals
Many users think that using "Transfer" within OKX is a withdrawal and mistakenly assume there must be a TxID. In reality, only withdrawals to external addresses have a TxID; internal transfers (to another OKX user) do not. If you need to prove this transaction to a third party, a screenshot of the statement is more suitable than a TxID because the statement shows both parties' OKX account identifiers, whereas an on-chain transaction cannot identify the counterparty.
Risk Reminder
-
Internal transfers cannot be externally verified: If you need to prove the flow of funds to an auditor or bank, an on-chain TxID is more convincing. Internal transfers can only be proven via OKX's official statement; external third parties cannot verify them independently.
-
Save screenshots of your transfer records: OKX statement history is typically available for the past 3 months; records beyond 3 months may not be viewable online. For tax or audit purposes, it is recommended to download and back up your statement immediately after the transaction.

How to Confirm the Transfer Is Complete
Return to the [Assets] page and check whether your total balance and the target account balance have been updated correctly—the recipient's balance increases and the sender's balance decreases, indicating that the internal transfer has been successfully completed, with no TxID needed at any point.
