How to Make an Internal Transfer Deposit on Binance?
Binance internal transfer deposit refers to moving cryptocurrency directly to your Binance account from another of your own Binance accounts, or from any other Binance user. The entire process operates fully within the Binance ecosystem and does not run on public blockchains, so it is completely free of transaction fees and settles in real time.

1. Prerequisite: Confirm Both Transacting Parties Are Binance Users
The core precondition for internal transfers is that the receiving party must own a Binance account that has passed identity verification (KYC). Before initiating the transfer, confirm that the recipient has registered for Binance and completed their KYC process.
2. Step 1: Navigate to the Internal Transfer Entry
Mobile App Operation Path:
Log in to your Binance App, tap the [Wallets] option on the bottom navigation bar.
Tap the [Withdraw] button.
Under the "Withdrawal Method" section, select the second option, which is usually labeled "Transfer via email/phone/ID" or "Binance User".
Web Platform Operation Path:
Log in to the official Binance website, hover your mouse over the [Wallet] icon in the top right corner, then click [Spot Wallet].
Click the [Withdraw] button.
In the "Withdrawal Address" field, select the [Binance User] option, then pick your preferred transfer method (email / mobile phone number / BUID).
Completion marker: You have successfully entered the page where you are required to fill in the recipient information and transfer amount.
3. Step 2: Fill in Recipient Information and Transfer Amount
On the transfer page, fill in the following key details:
Recipient Identifier: Enter the recipient's registered email address, mobile phone number, or Binance User ID (BUID). BUID is a string of numbers that can be found on the personal profile page of the recipient's Binance account.
Select Cryptocurrency: Pick the crypto asset you want to transfer from the list, for example USDT, BTC, BNB, etc.
Enter Transfer Amount: Input the quantity you plan to send. The system will automatically display the exact amount the recipient will receive, as no fees are charged for internal Binance transfers.
Completion marker: The recipient information, selected crypto, and transfer amount are all fully filled in, and you have confirmed the amount is correct.
Common failure cause: The recipient's Binance account has not completed identity verification (KYC), which blocks them from receiving internal transfers. Ask the recipient to finish their KYC first before retrying the operation.
4. Step 3: Confirm and Submit the Transfer
Double Check All Details: Verify the recipient information (especially the email / phone number / BUID) and transfer amount one more time. Once submitted, funds arrive instantly and the transaction cannot be reversed, you will not be able to recover the funds if you enter incorrect details.
Complete Security Verification: Depending on your account settings, finish secondary authentication via SMS verification code, Google Authenticator (2FA), or biometric verification.
Click [Submit] or [Send] to finalize the transfer.
Completion marker: The page shows a prompt reading "Transfer Successful". The funds will arrive in the recipient's account in real time.
5. Step 4: View Transfer Records
After the transfer is completed, you can check the transfer records to confirm the transaction status.
Operation Path:
Click [Recent Withdrawal Records] or [View History] on the withdrawal page to access transaction logs.
Binance internal transfers do not generate a blockchain transaction hash (TxID). The TxID field will show as "Internal" instead, and you will get a dedicated "Internal Transfer ID" for the transaction. If you encounter any issues with the transfer, provide this internal ID to Binance customer support, not a on-chain TxID.
6. Advanced: Internal Transfer From Main Account to Sub-Account
If you have Binance sub-accounts, moving funds from your main account to a sub-account also counts as an internal transfer, which is fee-free and settles instantly.
Operation Path:
Log in to your main Binance account, go to [Wallets] → [Sub-Accounts] page.
Find the [Internal Transfer] entry, select the out account (main account) and the in account (target sub-account).
Input the transfer amount (the single transaction limit is usually 95% of the available balance in your main account), complete security verification, then submit the transaction.
Note: Binance sub-accounts also have independent internal transfer APIs for operations such as futures fund transfers, you can find related documentation on the Binance Developer Platform.

Next Steps
After you finish the transfer, ask the recipient to log in to their Binance account and check the [Deposit] records in [Wallet History] to confirm they received the internal transfer. Since internal transfers settle in real time, if the recipient's account balance does not update immediately, recheck if the recipient information (email / phone number / BUID) you entered is correct. If you submitted incorrect information, the funds cannot be retrieved automatically, contact Binance customer support right away and provide your "Internal Transfer ID" for assistance.
