Step 3: Prepare Accepted Document Types
Select one document that is clearly accepted by OKX to submit, the valid document types recognized by the platform include:
Bank statement
Utility bill (water, electricity, gas, landline, broadband bills, mobile phone bills are usually not accepted)
Tax return or tax receipt
Pay slip with stated residential address
Rental agreement with remaining lease term of no less than 2 months
Insurance contract

Common Failure Reasons: Expired documents are the most common reason for rejection, old bills issued more than 3 months ago will be rejected directly by the system. The second common issue is submitting unaccepted file types such as mobile phone bills, and mismatched address information is also a frequent cause of rejection.
Next Step: You can go to your corresponding bank App to download the electronic PDF statement from the last 3 months, confirm that the name and address are exactly the same as the residential address you filled in, then go back to the Identity Verification page to upload it. After submission, the review is usually completed within 24 hours, you can check the OKX in-app notification to get the result.
