Can I Use an Expired ID for OKX KYC?
No. After your ID card expires, you cannot pass OKX's KYC identity verification. According to the official OKX Help Center, "expired ID card" is one of the direct reasons for rejection. Prerequisites

Whether your ID card has actually expired — some regions offer a grace period before expiry, but OKX requires the document to be within its validity period. If the remaining validity is too short, it is still advisable to renew the card first.

Step 1: Check the Validity of Your ID Card

Step 3: Wait for Review and Check the Result

Do not submit an expired ID. The system check will fail, and repeated attempts will only consume your daily submission limit.
Account functions are restricted while renewing your card. If your account is restricted due to an expired ID, it will remain restricted until you submit a new ID and it passes review – you can still withdraw funds, but normal trading will be unavailable.
