Entry 1: Main Entry on the App
This is the recommended path for completing verification, with full functionality.
Steps: Open the OKX App, tap the user center icon (profile picture) in the top-left corner of the home screen → tap your nickname/account at the top → select [Identity Verification], then tap [Verify Now] to enter the page. Follow the on-screen instructions to upload photos of your ID document (front and back), and complete liveness verification through facial recognition.
Completion standard: You enter the identity verification page, and the system starts guiding you to upload documents or displays your current verification status.
Entry 2: Web Version Entry
The web version allows you to submit some information, but the core verification steps require switching to the App. It is only for initiating the verification.
Steps: Log in to the OKX official website okx.com, click the profile icon in the top-right corner → select [Verification] or [Identity Verification] from the drop-down menu.
Completion standard: You enter the verification page and start filling in information; the system will usually prompt you to switch to the App to complete facial recognition.
How to Check Resubmission Notices
When your verification is rejected and you need to submit additional materials, OKX will notify you through the in-app message center, not by email.
Steps: Open the OKX App, tap the user center icon in the top-left corner → find and enter [Message Center] or [Notifications]. The additional documents required by the system may include: proof of address, source of funds and proof of wealth, etc. After submission, the review is usually completed within 24 hours. Please check for notifications in the User Center during this period.
Completion standard: You see the verification-related notice in the Message Center and submit the required supplementary materials according to the instructions.
Common Reasons for Failure
Repeatedly looking for the facial recognition button on the web version – OKX's facial recognition and video verification must be completed on the App; the web version does not have this feature.
Only checking email and not the App messages – Resubmission notices are sent in the App's Message Center, not via email. Some security notifications may be sent by email simultaneously, but verification-related notices are based on those in the App.
Incomplete or blurry uploaded materials – The system requires original photos of your ID documents. Photocopies, screenshots, images with glare, or documents with cut-off edges will be rejected.

Anyone asking for your OKX account password, Google Authenticator code, or SMS verification code under the pretext of "speeding up your verification" or "receiving resubmission notices on your behalf" is a scammer. How to Verify Completion
Open the OKX App User Center and go to the "Identity Verification" page:
Status shows "Verified" → Verification is complete.
Status shows "Under Review" → Normal pending; results will be available within 24 hours after submission.
Status shows "Additional Documents Required" → Resubmit following the instructions in the Message Center.
