OKX deposits that are confirmed on-chain but not credited—first check two things: whether the network matches and whether the tag (memo) is correct.

A blockchain explorer showing "Success" only means the on-chain transaction is complete; it doesn't mean OKX has credited your account. If you selected the wrong network or missed the tag, the funds will get stuck in the platform's wallet and won't automatically enter your account.
Prerequisites
- You have the transaction hash (TxID).
- You can open the relevant blockchain explorer (e.g., Etherscan, Tronscan) to check the transaction status.
- You know which deposit network you selected on OKX.
Step 1: Check Transaction Status on the Block Explorer
First, see if the transaction exists on the chain.
How to do it: Paste the TxID into the appropriate blockchain explorer. If the status shows "Success" or "Completed", it means the assets have reached the OKX wallet address. Next, check if OKX has acknowledged the deposit internally.
If it shows "Pending" or "Unconfirmed", wait for network confirmations. Different networks require different numbers of confirmations: USDT on TRC20 requires 19 confirmations, ERC20 requires 32 confirmations.
Completion criteria: The on-chain transaction status shows "Success".
Step 2: Verify the Deposit Network and Coin Are Correct
If the transaction is successful on-chain but not credited to OKX, the most likely reason is a "network mismatch".
How to do it: Open OKX's deposit page and see which "Deposit Network" you selected. Then go to the wallet or platform where you initiated the transfer and check the network you chose for withdrawal.
Case A: Networks don't match, e.g., you selected ERC20 on OKX, but chose BSC (BEP20) when withdrawing. The assets went to OKX's address on BSC, but your OKX account only checks the ERC20 chain, so it won't see them.
OKX explicitly warns: The BSC network currently does not support deposits of USDT and other digital assets to OKX, otherwise they will become untradeable assets. If you used this chain, contact customer service.
Case B: Wrong coin, e.g., sending ETH to a BTC address, or sending other tokens to an incompatible chain – these also won't be credited automatically.
Completion criteria: The deposit network and withdrawal network match exactly, and the coin matches the name shown on OKX's deposit page.
Step 3: Check if the Tag/Memo Is Correct
Some coins (e.g., XRP, EOS) require a tag or memo for deposits. OKX assigns a unique tag to each user to distinguish different accounts under the same deposit address.
How to do it: Confirm that you entered the tag on the sending side, and that the number matches exactly the one shown on the OKX deposit page. The tag is usually a 7-8 digit number.
Common failure reasons: Many users copy the address but forget to copy the tag. Or one digit in the tag is wrong. In this case, the assets have reached OKX's main wallet but cannot be automatically allocated to your account. The funds are not lost, but customer service must process it manually.
Completion criteria: The tag is filled in correctly and matches the OKX page display.
Step 4: Confirm the Deposit Is Not Paused or Delayed
In rare cases, the coin's network may be under maintenance, and the deposit function temporarily closed. Your transfer went through, but by the time it arrived, the deposit channel was shut. The assets will be held in OKX's wallet and automatically credited once the channel reopens.
Blockchain synchronization itself can also cause delays. From on-chain confirmation to OKX's internal accounting, it can sometimes take a few minutes to several tens of minutes.
Completion criteria: Rule out delays caused by network maintenance.
Risk warning: If you've completed all the above checks—on-chain confirmed, network and tag correct, deposit channel normal—but the funds haven't arrived after several hours, submit a request via the "Help Center" in the OKX App. Provide complete information: coin, amount, deposit network, TxID, tag (if applicable). Do not trust anyone claiming they can "push your deposit through for a fee." OKX customer service handles deposit issues for free.

Verification Method After Completion
Open the OKX App "Assets" page and pull down to refresh the balance. If the deposit has arrived, the balance will update, and this deposit record will appear in your "Transaction History".
If it still hasn't arrived after going through all 4 steps, submit a support request and wait for customer service to handle it; it usually takes 1-3 business days. Verification channels: OKX App Assets page, blockchain explorer, and the "Submit a request" entry in OKX Help Center.
