Binance Withdrawal Button Grayed Out? Account Restrictions and Network Status Check

The withdrawal button is gray and cannot be clicked. This is usually caused by account status or platform rules triggering a restriction, not a 'system glitch.' Do not rush to uninstall and reinstall. Follow the steps below to troubleshoot. Most of the time you can find the reason yourself.

Step 1: Confirm whether it is a hard restriction — KYC not completed

This is the most basic and most easily overlooked step. If your Binance account has not completed identity verification (KYC), the withdrawal function is basically locked.

  • What to do: Open the Binance app or website and go to the [Profile] or [Identity Verification] page.

  • Completion standard: Check whether the verification status is 'Verified.' If it shows 'Pending' or you have not submitted anything, complete the KYC process first. This is required to unlock all features.

Step 2: Check the account's security lock

If KYC is normal but the button is still gray, it is likely that security risk control was triggered. Binance's risk control system automatically locks accounts after unusual behavior to prevent asset theft.

Case A: You recently changed security settings If you recently reset Google Authenticator (2FA), changed your login password, or replaced your bound email, the withdrawal function will be temporarily frozen.

  • Password/2FA reset: Frozen for 48 hours.

  • Email change: Frozen for 120 hours (5 days).

  • What to do: Wait for the lock period to end. The system will not lift it early.

Case B: Unusual login environment If the system detects that you frequently switch IP addresses in a short time, log in with an unfamiliar device, or your location suddenly changes, risk control may also be triggered.

  • What to do: Stay logged in on the current device. Do not repeatedly switch VPNs or try logging in on multiple devices. If it still cannot be resolved, contact customer support to verify your identity.

Case C: Some funds are occupied The balance shown in your account may be partly tied up.

  • Open orders: You have unfilled limit orders, and those coins are frozen. Go to [Spot Orders] and cancel any open orders to release the funds.

  • Savings/staking: Funds in Binance Earn, Dual Investment, or collateral used for borrowing are locked during the lock-up period and cannot be withdrawn. Go to the corresponding product page and redeem them.

Case D: Fiat deposit has not reached the settlement period (mainly Binance.US) If you deposited USD via ACH, the money may appear in your account and allow you to trade, but the bank has not finished clearing it (usually 7 days). Before settlement, this money and the coins bought with it cannot be withdrawn.

Step 3: Rule out network and platform maintenance

If none of the above apply, then it is an external factor.

Case A: Wallet maintenance Binance regularly performs wallet maintenance on specific chains such as BSC or ETH. During maintenance, deposit and withdrawal buttons for that chain may be gray or unavailable. Check the Binance announcement or status page to see if that coin is under maintenance.

Case B: Account withdrawal limit reached Unverified or low-level accounts have a 24-hour withdrawal limit. If you exceed it, you will not be able to operate. Check the 'remaining daily limit' on the withdrawal page.

How to verify after troubleshooting

After completing these checks, return to the withdrawal page and look at the button:

  • If it lights up, the issue is resolved and you can click it normally.

  • If it is still gray, and you have confirmed that KYC is fine, there are no open orders, no locked holdings, and no recent security changes, then the fastest way is to contact Binance official support directly and submit a ticket through the in-app Help Center.
