If your referral commission relationship suddenly disappears, go to the invite referral panel to check the specific reason for the failure, then verify the last commission credit time in your fund flow. In most cases, the "disappearance" is not a broken relationship but the commission amount becoming 0 or unsettled.

Once a Binance referral relationship is established, it cannot be changed or unbound, so a "sudden disappearance" usually just means you stop receiving commissions, not that the referral relationship is terminated. The main reasons for not receiving commissions are: the invited user's account violated terms, trades did not generate net fees, you as the inviter were disqualified due to violations, or commission tier downgrade.
Step 1: Check the Invite Panel Status to Identify "Who Has the Problem"
Check which invited users are currently eligible for commissions according to the system, and whether you yourself are eligible to receive commissions. Path: App → Account Center → Invite Friends → enter the Referral Commission panel, view your invited users list and performance data. Each invited user will show "Eligible" or "Not Eligible" along with the reason.
Invited user shows "This user previously had an account with a different referral relationship": The user registered another account using the same KYC identity, so the referral relationship is deemed invalid by the system. Once established, the referral relationship cannot be changed. In this case, commissions are permanently terminated.
Invited user account violates terms: If the invited user's account breaches Binance's terms, referral rewards become invalid and commission payouts stop.
You were disqualified from receiving commissions due to violations: If the platform detects that your referral link was promoted through search engine ads or imitation third-party websites, the involved commissions will be canceled. The violation details will appear directly on the invite panel. After confirming, you can tell whether it's an "invited user issue" or "your own violation" causing the commission to disappear.
Step 2: Verify Commission Calculation Changes and Invited User VIP Level
Confirm that you are not receiving commissions because the invited user's level exceeds the limit or the commission calculation changed. Check the invited user's VIP level in the invite panel: For spot and margin trading, commission payments stop when the invited user reaches VIP 3 or above; for futures trading, the inviter can only receive commissions when the invited user is a regular user or VIP 1-2.
Starting April 29, 2026 (spot) and July 15, 2026 (futures), referral commissions are calculated as "Commission = Net Fee × Commission Rate." Net Fee = Trading revenue minus market maker rebates. If the invited user's trades are mostly offset by market maker rebates, the commission may become 0, making it look like the "referral relationship disappeared." You can verify whether the invited user's VIP level still falls within the commission range, and if the net fee is 0.
Step 3: Check Fund Flow to Confirm the Last Credit Record
Use the fund flow to verify the last commission credit time to confirm whether it's a "relationship disappearance" or a "settlement delay." Path: App → Wallet → Spot Account → Fund Flow, filter by "Commission" or "Cashback" type, and check the last commission credit time. The invited user's referral rewards are usually settled daily (T+1) and credited to the referrer's account. If there is no new commission record in the fund flow for more than 48 hours, and you confirm in the invite panel that the invited user is still actively trading, it means the commission has been terminated. You can then confirm the last credited commission time and amount.
Common Reasons for Commission Loss
Many users mistakenly think commissions will keep paying as long as the invited user keeps trading, but once the invited user reaches VIP 3, the commission automatically stops, and no notice appears on the panel. Some users see lower commissions in a month and think the referral code was changed, when it's actually because the invited user's trading volume dropped, causing the tier to downgrade automatically. If the trading volume stays below the current tier threshold for 10 consecutive days, the commission tier will downgrade on the 11th day, and the commission rate will drop accordingly.

Next Steps
If your referral relationship still exists but you're not receiving commissions, ask the invited user to log into their Binance account → Wallet → Spot Account → Fund Flow, check their trading fee records, and confirm whether "net fees" eligible for commission were generated. If the invited user confirms fees were generated but you did not receive commissions, look for an "Appeal" or "Contact Customer Support" option at the bottom of the invite panel, take screenshots of your invite panel status and the invited user's fee flow, and submit a ticket for verification. If you were disqualified from receiving commissions due to improper promotion of your referral link, you must stop the violation first, then apply for a review through customer support, but official reinstatement of eligibility is not guaranteed.
