Why Binance Launchpool Hourly Rewards Show Gaps
Launchpool hourly reward gaps happen because rewards are calculated hourly but based on random snapshots taken multiple times within the hour – not a single snapshot on the hour. If your holdings happen to be smaller at a randomly sampled moment during a particular hour, your reward for that hour drops or stops, and you see a "gap". Here's how to troubleshoot, starting from the most likely cause.

Step 1: Confirm whether rewards need to be "claimed manually"
This is the most common misunderstanding. Since December 2023, Launchpool rewards for BNB Flexible and Locked products can be claimed by users once per hour. Unclaimed rewards are automatically distributed to your spot wallet when the event ends.
Scenario A: You only check your balance around the top of the hour → Rewards do not automatically appear in your spot wallet. You need to go to the Launchpool page for the BNB pool and click to claim manually. Until you claim, it looks like a "gap" in your balance.
Scenario B: You never visited the Launchpool page to claim → Rewards have been accumulating and will be distributed automatically after the event ends. During the event, your account balance will show no incoming rewards.
Completion check: Go to the Launchpool BNB pool page and check whether there is a claimable reward waiting.
Prerequisites: You have completed KYC and hold BNB in Flexible or Locked Earn products.
Step 2: Check whether your holdings snapshot is properly captured every hour
Binance Launchpool rewards are calculated hourly using this method: multiple random snapshots are taken of your holdings and total pool holdings within each hour, and the average is used to calculate that hour's reward. It is not one snapshot on the hour – it is "multiple random snapshots".
How to check: Log into the Binance App, go to [Wallet] – [Earn Account] and review the balance history of your BNB Flexible or Locked product.
Scenario A: You redeemed BNB at some point during the hour (even for a few minutes) → A snapshot may have been taken right after your redemption and before you re-deposited. If the random snapshot captured a lower balance, that hour's reward is reduced or zero, creating a gap.
Scenario B: You transferred in additional BNB during the hour → Likewise, the period before the transfer is not counted if no snapshot captured it; only the BNB already present at the time of snapshots counts.
Completion check: Confirm whether your BNB holdings changed during the time of the gap.
Common failure reason: Thinking "once staked, it counts for the full hour". Launchpool calculates based on the actual average holdings within the hour, not on a simple pro-rata time basis.
Step 3: Confirm your BNB is in the right product type
Scenario A: BNB is in a Flexible Earn product (BNB Yield Pool) → Automatically participates in Launchpool; reward can be claimed hourly, rules unchanged.
Scenario B: BNB is in a Locked Earn product → Also participates automatically in Launchpool; no need to redeem Locked BNB and stake again. These rewards can also be claimed hourly.
Scenario C: BNB is collateral in Binance Loans (Flexible Rate) → Such assets are not eligible for Launchpool rewards. If this is the cause, the gap will persist throughout the entire event.
Completion check: Confirm your BNB is in Flexible or Locked Earn products, not in loans or other non-qualifying products.
Risk note: When multiple Launchpool events run in parallel, your BNB holdings in Flexible and Locked products are split evenly across all eligible pools. The allocation to each pool is calculated separately; it's not a case of "all BNB goes to one pool and none to the other".

How to confirm after these steps
Go to the Launchpool page and check the "Claimed" and "Claimable" records. If a claimable amount shows but hasn't been credited, initiate a manual claim – the reward will be transferred directly into your spot wallet.
If you confirm that the gap was caused by a holdings snapshot, the lost rewards cannot be recovered. In future events, keep your BNB in the designated product without moving it, so that every random hourly snapshot captures your full holdings.
Next step: To maximize rewards, deposit your BNB into Flexible or Locked Earn products before the Launchpool event starts, and do not operate on it until the farming period ends.
