The Binance Card does not have a standalone "one-click chargeback" page. The entry point for handling disputed transactions is usually tied to your card transaction records: first find the transaction in your transaction history, then initiate a dispute through the card management page or customer service channel. One key premise needs to be stated first: the Binance Card is currently issued mainly through Immersve in specific jurisdictions. Whether Chinese readers can use the card and where the dispute process goes depends on the region of your account and the card program you belong to. It cannot be handled through a single unified path.

First Confirm Which "Binance Card" You Have
There are different versions and issuing arrangements for the Binance Card. The currently available "Global Program" is provided by Immersve, an entity registered in New Zealand that operates as a card issuer under the Mastercard global partnership program. The application requirements shown on the Binance Card official website for supported regions such as Brazil also point to the Immersve service framework.
This means the counterparty in a chargeback dispute is not entirely Binance itself. The dispute request you submit may be received and forwarded by the Binance customer service team, or it may need to be handled directly with Immersve or the card network. In cases visible on the Brazilian consumer complaint platform, after users submitted disputes through Binance's official channel, Binance customer service replies mentioned that the analysis involves "merchants, card organizations, and other parties involved in the transaction process," and no exact completion time could be given. This case cannot represent all regions, but it shows that: a chargeback is not a process where the result is unilaterally decided by Binance after submission.
If your region cannot apply for a Binance Card, or your card is not the Global Program version, the following steps need to be based on the customer service entry shown on your actual card page. If you cannot confirm the specific version, do not follow any third-party tutorial. Contact customer service directly from the card page in the Binance App.
First Step for Disputed Transactions: Distinguish Between "Pending" and "Completed"
Before considering a chargeback, check the transaction status. The official Binance Card explanation states: transactions are in a pending state before the merchant settles them, and become completed after the merchant settles. If a transaction remains pending and the merchant has already cancelled it, the funds will automatically return to your funding account after 30 days. This step does not require a chargeback; just wait for the automatic return.
Only when a transaction shows as "Completed" does it enter the scope of dispute handling. Completed means the merchant has already settled and actually deducted the funds. At this point, if you have a dispute with the transaction, you need to initiate a chargeback or dispute.
The Actual Path to Initiate a Dispute
The Binance Card product page mentions providing "dispute/chargeback support." However, in the official help documentation, the main guidance on transaction issues is: if you are unsure why a transaction failed or was declined, contact customer service. The dispute entry point does not appear in public documentation as an independent button or menu.
According to descriptions by Brazilian consumers on complaint platforms, there was once a "Report a problem with this payment" function entry in the Binance Card transaction details. The operation described by that user occurred in the context of the Brazilian version of the card. Whether it applies to your region and card version depends on the interface you actually see. If there is no similar entry on the transaction details page, going through the customer service channel is a more reliable path: enter the customer service chat from the card management page in the Binance App, explain that you want to initiate a dispute for a specific completed transaction, and provide the transaction time, amount, merchant name, and reason for the dispute. Customer service will tell you the specific process and required materials applicable to your current region.
What not to do: Do not repeatedly submit the same dispute just because you cannot find a chargeback button. Also, do not contact the merchant on your own to reach a refund during the dispute process and then submit a duplicate request. If the merchant has already refunded you, Binance has the right to reclaim any cashback previously issued when processing the refund or reversal. Repeated operations may confuse the dispute status and extend processing time.
What a Chargeback Can and Cannot Handle
The Binance Card product page lists dispute support as one of its features, but the official help documentation does not list the applicable conditions and exclusions for chargebacks. Based on the general logic of card network disputes and Binance Card's existing refund mechanism, two scenarios need to be distinguished:
Merchant refunds are when the merchant proactively returns the funds, usually credited back to your funding account in USDC within 30 working days. The transaction fee charged at the time of purchase is not refunded. If your request is "the merchant agreed to a refund but it has not arrived," first check the refund status in the transaction details instead of directly initiating a chargeback. Chargebacks are disputes for unauthorized transactions or merchants failing to provide services, where the card issuer or card network intervenes to investigate. The handling parties and timelines for the two are different, so do not confuse them.
It is especially important to note that cases on the Brazilian complaint platform show that a user claimed their phone was stolen and the thief created a virtual card and made purchases. After the user reported it, Binance rejected the dispute on the grounds that "card-present (proximity/contactless) transactions do not comply with card network policies." The user's claim and Binance's response are unilateral statements on the complaint platform and have not been independently verified. However, it highlights a real risk: contactless transactions involving physical cards or bound devices may face stricter evidence requirements in disputes. If your dispute involves a lost card, stolen device, or contactless payment, you should clearly state when submitting that the card was not under your control at the time, and provide verifiable materials such as a police report (if required by your region). Do not fabricate materials or conceal the transaction method.
How to Check Status After Submission
After submitting a dispute, the anchor point for confirmation is the case number in the customer service conversation. Binance customer service suggested in complaint replies that users follow up through support chat, and case updates will be delivered through that channel. You need to distinguish three statuses: Dispute submitted (customer service confirms receipt), Under investigation (you may need to provide additional materials), and Conclusion reached (refund or rejection, with reasons). Do not treat it with a "submit and wait for refund" mindset. Regularly check the customer service chat for messages awaiting your reply.
There is no unified standard for arrival time. The 30 working days in the official refund documentation refers to merchant refunds, not the adjudication time limit for chargeback disputes. Disputes involve merchants and card networks, and the specific duration depends on the response of all parties. Do not use the refund time limit to pressure for a dispute conclusion, and do not assume the money has returned before receiving a conclusion.
If Your Card Region Does Not Support the Dispute Process
The Binance Card Global Program currently has limited clearly supported application regions, and Brazil is one of the supported regions listed on the official website. If your account region is not within the supported scope, you cannot actually hold the card, so there is no chargeback issue. If you hold a Binance Card from another regional version, the dispute process follows the guidance of that version's issuer and local customer service. Being able to open the webpage and see the Binance Card introduction does not mean your account is eligible to apply for or use the corresponding service.
