What to Prepare When Resubmitting Documents About to Expire

Important: Once you click [Confirm Update], your account will immediately switch to "Withdrawal Only" mode—you will be unable to trade or deposit until the review is approved. It is recommended that you complete any necessary trades before proceeding.
Step 3: Submit the Update Application and Complete Facial Recognition
What to do: Upload the new document photos, fill in the updated information, and complete the liveness detection.
How to do it:
Upload the front and back photos of your new document.
The system will automatically recognize the information on the document (name, document number, validity period, etc.). Confirm that the system-recognized information matches the original document exactly.
Confirm that your current residential address is correct.
Complete facial recognition (liveness detection): align your face within the frame, remove hats and glasses, and ensure the lighting is sufficient with no obstructions to your face.
You can attempt verification up to 5-10 times per day (this varies slightly by region). If you reach the rejection limit within 24 hours, you will need to wait 24 hours before trying again.
What counts as done: The page displays "Submission Successful" or "Processing."
Step 4: Wait for Review and Watch for Result Notifications
What to do: After submitting, wait for the Binance review team to process your application and watch for notifications in the meantime.
How to do it:
Once the review is approved, Binance will send a notification email to your registered email address.
If the review is not approved, the page will display the rejection reason (such as unclear photo, mismatched information, etc.). Revise based on the prompts and resubmit.

Common Reasons for Failure
Proceeding before the new document is in hand: Selecting "documents have expired" without actually having a new document to upload results in failure when the review team finds no updated information.
New document photo does not meet requirements: Blurry, glare, missing corners, or using a rephotograph/screenshot instead of an original photo.
Information filled in does not match the document: If the system's automatically recognized name or document number differs from the original document, you need to manually correct it. Many people skip this step and submit directly.
