Step 1: Check the official checklist and find missing settings
What to do: Confirm whether your account has enabled all security features recommended by OKX.
How to do it: Open the OKX App and go to Profile → Security Center. Check each item below against the official security checklist.
Two-factor authentication (2FA): Have you bound Google Authenticator? SMS-only verification is not secure enough and can be vulnerable to SIM swapping. OKX officially recommends binding an authenticator app.
Anti-phishing code: Have you set a code that only you know? This code acts like a watermark to help you identify real OKX emails. Without it, an email that looks official may actually be fake.

Step 2: Check for abnormal device environment issues
If you have confirmed that the security settings in your account are all correct but the score is still unusually low, the problem may be with your device environment.
OKX's Security Assistant, especially on Windows, checks whether your computer has threats that may affect asset safety, such as remote-control trojans, malicious processes, or clipboard tampering.
What to do:
If the Security Assistant has shown a risk alert, it is best to follow the recommended action, especially for high-risk alerts. Choose "clean/uninstall" first. Do not click "ignore" or "minimize."
If the cleanup fails, try again with administrator permissions or restart your computer and try again.
