Binance Pay Request Bill: Approval, Payment and Reconciliation

Binance does not have a standalone "bill payment" entry. When you use Binance Pay to handle a pending payment request, the actual scenario is usually one of two types: payment link or split bill. The former is when the other party gives you a dedicated link, you open it, confirm the amount, and pay. The latter is when the other party splits a total amount into multiple shares, and you pay according to your share.

From the process perspective, there is no "approval" step — you receive the request, check the information, and pay directly. After payment is completed, reconciliation relies on the transaction history of Binance Pay.

How to pay after receiving a payment link

If the other party sends you a payment link through Binance Pay, the process is as follows:

  1. Open the link. You will see the requester's Binance nickname and payment note.

  2. Confirm the request is correct, then click "Open Binance App". If the link fails to redirect, you can ask the other party to send you a Binance Pay QR code directly.

  3. Check the details on the payment request page. Focus on the amount, currency, and requester name to make sure they match your expectations.

  4. Complete verification after confirmation (PIN or 2FA), and the funds will be sent to the other party immediately.

There is one risk point you must pay attention to: do not pay unknown requesters. The official documentation clearly states that if the request comes from someone you do not know, do not proceed, and you can report suspicious requests through Binance customer support.

How to pay a split bill

Split Bill is another feature of Binance Pay. The logic is similar to a payment link, but the entry point is different. The creator splits a total amount into N shares (including themselves), then shares the request link. What you receive is still a link, and the payment process after opening it is no different from a normal payment link: check the name, amount, and note, then complete verification after confirmation.

Where to reconcile after payment

After the payment is successful, the money will enter the other party's funding account. Your own records can be viewed in the history of Binance Pay.

The more complete transaction record export path is: Funding Account → Transaction History → Export Transaction Records. Binance Pay transactions belong to the Funding Account. When exporting, select the Funding account, set the date range, and choose the format (PDF/Excel/CSV) to generate the file.

The download link for the exported file expires after 7 days, so download it as soon as possible after generation. In addition, the number of exports per month has an upper limit (usually between 15 and 40 times), and the specific quota will be displayed on the export interface.

If you need to check a specific Binance Pay payment, you can ask the payer to provide a screenshot of the transaction details: in the App, go to Pay → Transaction Records; on the web, go to Orders → Payment History, and click the corresponding transaction to view details. A status of "Success" means the funds have been sent from the other party's account.

If the other party says they paid but you did not receive it

First confirm that you are looking at the Funding Account, not the Spot Account. Binance Pay funds enter the Funding Account. If there is nothing in the Funding Account either, ask the other party to provide a screenshot of the transaction details and check whether the recipient information was entered incorrectly. The most common reason for a transaction showing "Success" but you not receiving it is that the other party entered the wrong recipient identifier (email, phone number, or UID).
