Can the previously saved deposit addresses on Binance still be used?
Not necessarily. Binance periodically upgrades its wallet infrastructure and deactivates old deposit addresses and memos. If you continue to send funds to an already deactivated old address, the deposit will not be credited automatically and will need to be processed manually.
Step 1: Confirm whether your old address has been deactivated
Before deactivating an old address, Binance notifies affected users via email. If you have never received such a notification, the address may still be valid.
If there is no relevant email, the safest approach is to log into your Binance account, obtain the address again from the deposit page, and compare it with the old address you have on file.
What counts as done: Confirm whether your inbox contains a "deposit address migration" or "deactivation" notice from Binance.
Step 2: Check the current valid address on the Binance deposit page
Log in to the Binance app or website and go to [Deposit] – [Deposit Crypto]
Select the corresponding coin and network
The system will display the currently valid deposit address
Compare this address with the old address you saved. If they are different, the old address has already been deactivated.
What counts as done: Confirm whether your saved address matches the address currently shown on Binance.
Step 3: Case A – The addresses match (still usable)
If the two addresses are identical, your saved address is still valid and you can continue using it.
However, Binance officially recommends verifying the address on the platform before every deposit. Developing this habit can help you avoid asset losses.
What counts as done: Use that address directly to complete the deposit.
Step 4: Case B – The addresses are different (deactivated)
If the address currently displayed on Binance differs from the one you saved, the old address has been deactivated.

After the old address is deactivated, funds sent to that old address will not be credited automatically. You must process them manually:
Log in to your Binance account and go to the [Wallet Transaction History] page
Find the transaction record of the deposit sent to the old address
Click the [One-click transfer] button to manually transfer the funds into your spot wallet

Note: As soon as you obtain a new address and complete one deposit using it, the old address will be closed immediately. Even if you never use the new address, the old address will automatically expire 30 days after you receive the notification.

"A screenshot of the address is enough – I don't need to change it": Incorrect. Binance regularly replaces addresses due to wallet security upgrades. An address in a screenshot may already be invalid.
"Funds sent to an old address will be credited automatically": Incorrect. After an old address is deactivated, deposits sent to it will not be credited automatically; they must be handled manually.
If you have never received an email notification, it means your address has not yet been deactivated. However, starting in 2023 Binance supports generating multiple deposit addresses for the same network. Always use the latest address before each deposit.
