1. Log in to your Binance account

What to do: Log into your Binance account, ensuring you have completed KYC identity verification.

How to do it:

  • Open the Binance app or visit the official website binance.com.

  • Enter your login credentials and complete any two-factor authentication (2FA) if enabled.

When it's done: Successfully logged in and on the account home page.

2. Go to the Deposit page

What to do: Find the deposit entry.

How to do it:

Option A (App):

  1. Tap the [Wallet] or [Funds] icon in the bottom navigation bar.

  2. On the wallet page, find and tap the [Deposit] button.

Option B (Web):

  1. Click on [Wallet] in the top right corner → [Wallet Overview] or [Spot Account].

  2. Find and click the [Deposit] button on the page.

When it's done: You see the deposit method selection page.

Binance has two deposit options — "Fiat Deposit" and "Crypto Deposit". To copy a deposit address, go to [Crypto Deposit], not the fiat one.

3. Select the coin and network

What to do: Search for and select the coin you want to deposit on the deposit page.

How to do it:

  1. On the crypto deposit page, enter the coin name (e.g., USDT, BNB, BTC).

  2. The system will list all supported networks for that coin (e.g., TRC20, ERC20, BEP20).

  3. Choose the exact same network as your sending wallet — choosing the wrong network may result in loss of funds.

When it's done: You have selected the coin and network, and the page shows the deposit address and QR code.

4. Copy the deposit address

What to do: Copy the deposit address displayed on the page.

How to do it:

  1. The deposit address will appear in two forms: a string of characters and a QR code.

  2. Click the [Copy] button next to the address (usually an icon of two overlapping squares).

  3. Paste the address into a text editor and manually verify the first few and last few characters to ensure it is complete and correct.

When it's done: The address has been copied to the clipboard and manually checked.

Prerequisites:

  • Your Binance account has passed KYC identity verification.

  • Your external wallet has the corresponding coin and enough gas fees.

Common failure reasons:

  • Only copied the address but not the Memo: If the deposit page shows both an address and a Memo (e.g., for XRP, EOS), both are mandatory and must be entered in the withdrawal platform's corresponding fields.

  • Clipboard tampering: Some malware may replace what you copy. Get into the habit of checking — verify the first and last few characters after pasting.

  • Wrong network: You selected BEP20 but your wallet uses ERC20; funds will be sent to the wrong network and usually cannot be recovered.

Risk warnings:

  • Network mismatch = loss of funds: Selecting the wrong network is the most common cause of lost coins. Binance official notice repeatedly reminds: the chosen network must exactly match the network used by the withdrawal platform, otherwise assets may be lost and unrecoverable.

  • Deposit address is public: The address itself is public on-chain information, but do not confuse the address with the private key/seed phrase — the address can be shared publicly, the private key must never be shared.

5. Save the address for future use (optional)

What to do: If you need to share the address with others, you can save the QR code.

How to do it:

  • Click [Save and Share Address]; the system will generate an image containing the address and QR code.

  • You can send this image to anyone who needs to send you crypto; they can scan the QR code to automatically fill in the address.

When it's done: The QR code image has been saved locally.

After copying the address, paste it into a memo or chat box and compare it character by character with the address displayed on the Binance deposit page. Once you confirm the address and network name match, go back to your external wallet and paste the address into the withdrawal/transfer page. It is recommended to test with a small amount first, then transfer the remainder after the first transaction arrives.
