For SGD deposits on OKX Singapore, PayNow is the top choice: instant arrival, zero fees, and available 24/7. For withdrawals, FAST bank transfer is also fee-free and instant, but before your first withdrawal you must complete a successful deposit using the same bank account to verify account ownership. Both channels are only available to eligible local users in Singapore. Just because the webpage loads does not mean you are eligible to use them.

Deposits: PayNow Process and Key Details to Check
The PayNow deposit entry is on the Assets page of the App or website. On the web, log in and go to Assets, select Deposit, then choose SGD balance. On the App, go to Transfer from the homepage, enter Deposit, and select SGD. After choosing PayNow as the payment method, the system will generate a PayNow QR code unique to that OKX account, containing a specific bill reference number.
Scan or upload this QR code using your Singapore bank app, enter the amount on the bank side, and confirm the transfer. PayNow is instant within Singapore, has no processing fee, and is available 24/7. However, several hard restrictions affect whether the deposit succeeds:
You must transfer from a bank account under your own name. The OKX account name and bank account name must match. Deposits from third-party accounts will be rejected, and refunds to the original sending account usually take 1 business day.
PayLah! wallet works, but GrabPay, Wise, and LifeSG do not. Deposits via PayLah! are supported, but transfers from GrabPay, Wise, and LifeSG are not accepted.
Submitting a deposit is not the end. Before funds arrive, they go through a deposit eligibility check, including KYC status and transaction limits. If rejected, the refund to the original account happens within 1 business day, but you still need to check whether your bank side has received it.
For large deposits (over 200,000 SGD), the official recommendation is to use local bank transfer (FAST/MEPS) instead of PayNow. For everyday deposits of normal amounts, PayNow is sufficient.
Withdrawals: Verify Your Account First, Then Choose FAST
The SGD withdrawal entry is at Assets > Withdraw. Select Cash and SGD balance, then choose a linked bank account and the withdrawal amount. The minimum withdrawal amount is 10 SGD.
There is a precondition for the first withdrawal that is easy to overlook: only a bank account that has been used for a successful deposit can be selected as a withdrawal account. Grayed-out accounts are unverified. To verify, simply make a deposit using that account. Once the deposit succeeds, the account automatically becomes verified.
The withdrawal method you choose affects cost and speed. MEPS is the default withdrawal method, with a fee of 20 SGD. FAST is usually free and instant within Singapore. If your bank supports FAST and the amount is under 200,000 SGD, choosing FAST is the more sensible option—there is no reason to pay an extra 20 SGD for the same SGD withdrawal. Check the actual fee on the preview page before submitting, and confirm the deducted amount and the amount you will receive.
FAST withdrawals are "instant" under normal circumstances, but during peak periods or delays on the bank side, it may take up to a few hours. If OKX shows Completed but the bank has not credited the funds, the issue is usually on the receiving bank side. You can check your bank statement later before deciding whether to contact customer service.
A PayLah! Withdrawal Risk Worth Noting
If you choose to withdraw to a PayLah! wallet, the withdrawal account number shown is the mobile number linked to your PayLah!. Once OKX shows the withdrawal as complete, the funds arrive instantly in the recipient e-wallet. Neither OKX nor the receiving bank can automatically withdraw or reverse the transaction. If you changed your phone number but PayLah! is still linked to the old number, the withdrawal will go to the account corresponding to the old number, and recovery depends on whether the other party cooperates. Before submitting, make sure to check the masked phone number on the confirmation page and verify it is the number currently linked to your PayLah!.
What It Means If You Cannot See Deposit/Withdrawal Options
If you cannot find the Deposit SGD or Withdraw Cash options on the Assets page, or if you see a "Cash deposit unavailable" message, it means fiat services are not available in your region, or your account status does not meet the fiat service eligibility for your current region. This is not an operational issue, nor can it be solved by using a different entry point. OKX Singapore's local SGD transfer service is only open to eligible users in Singapore. Your account's KYC information and regional attribution determine whether you can see these features.
What You Should Do Now
If you have not made a deposit yet: use the PayNow feature of your own Singapore bank account, get the QR code from OKX's SGD deposit page, and complete a transfer. After the deposit succeeds, the same account automatically gains withdrawal eligibility. When withdrawing, prioritize FAST over the default MEPS. Before submitting, confirm on the preview page that the fee is waived, then complete 2FA confirmation. PayLah! users should spend an extra ten seconds checking the phone number before withdrawing.
