The key to selling music on Audius and receiving money on OKX is to work around Audius's in-app withdrawal limits. Audius itself does not directly support withdrawals to exchanges. What it gives you is a Solana-based wallet address (your Audius account), and your earnings are stored there as USDC or AUDIO. To get your money to OKX, you need to transfer assets out of that Solana wallet yourself. There is no "withdraw to exchange" button inside the Audius interface.

Selling music on Audius: how it actually works
Audius has almost no barriers for uploading and pricing. After registering an account, you can upload tracks for free and without limits, and you decide whether to charge and how much. The platform supports 320kbps streaming, and paid purchases unlock lossless downloads.
Pricing and earnings structure: You can set prices for singles, stems, albums, or instrumentals. Common ranges are $1-$5 for singles and $5-$10 for albums. Audius charges a 10% network fee on each sale, and the remaining 90% goes into your account balance immediately and can be withdrawn at any time. That 10% goes into the community treasury, and its use is decided by governance.
An easily overlooked incentive: When fans buy your content with USDC, Audius also matches part of the purchase with AUDIO tokens sent to your wallet. This means your actual earnings may be higher than the USDC amount shown in the price.
From your Audius wallet to OKX: the only viable path
Your Audius earnings are stored in the Solana wallet address tied to your Audius account. Payments arrive as USDC (when fans buy with credit cards) or AUDIO (the incentive portion). Audius does not offer a "send to OKX" option, so you need to handle the on-chain transfer yourself.
Specific steps:
Find your wallet address in Audius. After logging in, go to the Wallet page and you will see a Solana address. This is your payment address and also the starting point for moving assets out.
Get the matching deposit address on OKX. Open OKX, go to the Deposit page, select USDC or AUDIO, and make sure the network is set to Solana. OKX will give you a Solana address.
Transfer out from your Audius wallet. Currently there is no direct "send" function inside the Audius app. You need to export the wallet's private key or seed phrase, import it into a Solana-compatible wallet such as Phantom or Solflare, and then send USDC or AUDIO from there to your OKX Solana deposit address.
Key check: On OKX, the AUDIO token may exist on multiple chains, such as Ethereum and Solana. The deposit network must match the network where your Audius wallet is located—Audius is currently based on Solana. If you transfer from a Solana wallet, you must select the Solana network on the OKX deposit page. If you choose the wrong network, your assets will most likely be lost and cannot be recovered.
Copyright: you keep ownership, but pay attention to storage responsibility
Audius's terms of service state clearly: creators retain all rights, title, and interest in their content, including all copyrights. The platform defines its role as a "passive conduit and decentralized hosting service." It does not claim ownership of content and has no obligation to proactively monitor content.
But there is one practical condition: your content is hosted on Content Nodes and actually stored by node operators. If you do not run a node yourself and do not maintain hosting through a designated node operator, your content may be marked as "unverified," meaning it cannot be discovered through search, and your earnings during that period will be lost. This is not a loss of copyright, but a loss of distribution and monetization ability. Audius itself is not responsible for compensating node operators for any fees or for your lost earnings.
Risks to evaluate in advance
AUDIO price risk. AUDIO is a highly volatile token. If part of your incentive payment is in AUDIO, its dollar value will keep changing until you transfer it to OKX and sell it. AUDIO's historical high was around $4.97, and its current price is in the $0.01-$0.02 range. Do not estimate income based on historical prices.
Solana network congestion or failure. Moving funds from your Audius wallet to OKX goes through the Solana chain. When the network is congested, transactions may be delayed or fail, and fees may fluctuate. Before transferring, confirm that both your OKX Solana deposit address and your Audius wallet address are correct. Test with a small amount first, then transfer a larger amount.
Audius "instant" does not mean "instant to OKX". "Instant Earnings" means that after a fan pays, 90% of the amount appears in your Audius account balance immediately. The step from your Audius wallet to OKX is still a normal on-chain transfer. You need to do it yourself, and OKX may require network confirmations before crediting your account.
