How to Find Your OKX Deposit Address? A Guide to Deposit Addresses for All Coins
OKX deposit addresses can be found under Assets – Deposit. They are generated by coin and network; each coin has a different address on each network. After selecting the coin and network, the page displays the corresponding deposit address (some coins also require a Tag/Memo). Copy the address and paste it into your external wallet to initiate the transfer.
Step 1: Go to the deposit page
Open the OKX app, tap Assets at the bottom right, select Deposit, then tap Deposit again to enter the coin selection screen. On the web version, go to Asset Management in the top right corner and click Deposit.
What marks this step as complete: You have reached the "Select Coin" screen, where you can search or browse the list of coins.
Step 2: Choose the coin and network
Enter the coin you want to deposit (e.g., USDT) in the search bar and select it. Then choose the deposit network – this step is crucial. OKX lists all supported networks for that coin, such as USDT-ERC20, USDT-TRC20, etc.
Key rule: The network you select must exactly match the network used for the withdrawal in your external wallet. Otherwise, the funds will not arrive and are difficult to recover. Common choices: TRC20 offers low fees and fast confirmation; ERC20 costs more but has broader compatibility.
What marks this step as complete: A coin and its network have been selected, and the page has jumped to the deposit details screen.
Step 3: Get the deposit address and Tag/Memo
The page generates a unique address for that coin on that network. Click Copy Address to copy it.
Some coins require an additional Tag/Memo (e.g., XRP, EOS, XLM):
A string of digits labeled "Tag" or "Memo" appears above the deposit address.
You must copy both the address and the Tag, and when withdrawing from an external wallet, fill in both fields correctly for the funds to arrive.
If a Tag/Memo is not required, simply fill in the address.
What marks this step as complete: The address (and the Tag, if any) has been copied to the clipboard.
FAQ: Things to watch out for when looking up an address
The same address cannot be used across different coins: A BTC address can only receive BTC; it cannot be used for ETH or USDT. Otherwise, the assets will be lost and cannot be recovered.
The same coin has different addresses on different networks: USDT-ERC20 and USDT-TRC20 are two completely different addresses. Use whichever one you choose.
Deposit addresses can be reused, but it is recommended to re-enter the deposit page before each transaction to confirm the address and avoid errors caused by platform address updates.
How to view old addresses: On the deposit page, click the [>] icon to the right of the address to see a history of previously used deposit addresses.
After you have the deposit address, initiate a withdrawal in your external wallet, paste the address (and the Tag), select the same network, confirm the amount, and submit. Once confirmed on-chain, the funds will be credited automatically. If the deposit has not arrived after the normal confirmation time, you can check the status in Deposit History, or contact customer support through the Help Center in the OKX app and provide the transaction hash for inquiry.
