How to Resubmit Proof of Address After Moving on Binance
Resubmitting proof of address after moving is essentially updating your KYC information, not simply modifying your account details. When your country/region of residence changes, Binance requires you to reset your KYC to comply with the regulations of your new jurisdiction.
Prerequisites: Prepare a valid new proof of address document
Before you start, make sure you have a document that meets the requirements:
Document date: Must be within 90 days of the submission date.
Document contents: Must include your full name and current residential address.
Unacceptable document types: P.O. Box addresses are not accepted. On some platforms, mobile phone bills, credit card statements, and purely online bank statements are also not accepted. It is recommended to prioritize utility bills, bank statements, or government-issued identity documents that include your address.
Step 1: Access the address editing entry
What to do: Log into your Binance account and find the page to modify your address.
How to do it:
Log into the Binance official website and hover over the profile icon in the upper right corner.
Click [Account], then go to the [Identification] page.
Scroll down, find the address information section, and click the [Edit Address] button.
When is this step complete: The page redirects to the address editing form, and you can begin entering your new address information.
Step 2: Enter your new address and submit the proof document
What to do: Enter your new country/region of residence and detailed address, then upload the proof document.
How to do it:
On the address editing page, select your new country/region of residence and click [Continue].
Fill in the detailed street address, city, postal code, etc., and click [Continue].
The system will prompt you to upload a proof of address document. Follow the instructions, click the [Upload] button, and submit the PDF or image file you prepared.
When is this step complete: The file is successfully uploaded, and the page shows a submission success or a status indicating that the review is in progress.
Step 3: Wait for review and pay attention to notifications
What to do: After submission, wait for Binance to complete the review.
Review duration: Proof of address verification usually takes 1-2 business days.
When is this step complete: The review result will be sent to you via email or in-app notification. There is no need to contact customer service during this period.
Important: Moving may involve resetting KYC
If your move involves a change of country/region, Binance will require you to re-complete the KYC verification according to the regulations of your new residence. This is because different countries have different regulatory requirements for crypto platforms, and your account must comply with local laws.

Product access changes: After changing your country/region of residence, certain products you previously used (such as futures trading) may no longer be available to you due to local regulations.
