If registering on a computer, manually type www.binance.com into the address bar. Do not search for "Binance official website" on a search engine. The top results may carry an "Ad" label and lead to phishing sites. If registering on a phone, do not click links sent by others. Type the address manually.
Completion standard: the address bar shows www.binance.com, and there is a green lock icon before it. If you see variants like binance-xxx.com or b1nance.com, close the page immediately.
Step 2: Verify the app download channel — only use official app stores or the official website
iOS users: search for "Binance" in the App Store. It may not appear in the mainland China store. You may need to switch to an overseas Apple ID or install it through the TestFlight link on the official website. Check the developer name. It should be "Binance Inc." or "Binance Holdings Ltd." Look for that identifier.
Android users: download the APK from the official website, or search for "Binance" on Google Play. Do not download "high-speed" or "cracked" installation packages from third-party websites. The risk is extremely high.
Completion standard: after installation, open the app. The interface should run smoothly without asking for your private key or demanding a transfer as an "activation fee."
Step 3: Use the official "Binance Verify" tool
Before registering, if you receive any link, email, or private message claiming to be from Binance, you can verify it with this tool. You do not need to log in to a Binance account to use it.
How to use it: scroll to the bottom of the official website homepage and find [Binance Verify] under the "Support" section. Or type the official verification link directly into the address bar: https://www.binance.com/zh-CN/official-verification.
After entering, choose the type you want to verify from the dropdown menu — website links, emails, phone numbers, and Telegram accounts can all be checked. Enter the information and click [Search]. See whether the system popup shows "Verified" or "Unverified."

Step 4: Pay attention to two details during registration
The registration process itself is simple: enter your email or phone number, set a strong password, receive a verification code, and then complete identity verification (KYC) — which requires uploading an ID photo and a selfie.
Two details are worth noting:
Referral code: if you have a referral code, fill it in the "Referral ID" field on the registration page. For example, Binance referral code: FYLK9104. If you do not fill it in during registration, you cannot add it later.
Anti-phishing code: after registering, go to the Security Center and set up an Anti-Phishing Code. Every official email from Binance will then include this code. If an email does not contain it, it is fake.
Risk reminder: during registration, if any step asks you to transfer funds to a certain address to "verify your account" or "activate permissions," close the page immediately. Binance will never require users to send money for verification during registration. This is a typical sign of a phishing website.
How to verify completion: after successfully registering and logging in, go to [Security Center] to confirm that the anti-phishing code has been set. Then enable Google Authenticator as two-factor authentication (2FA) — do not rely only on SMS verification, to protect against SIM swapping.
