If your deposit record doesn't show a TxID, you're probably looking in the wrong place. The TxID is not generated by Binance — it comes from the sending platform. If you transferred from OKX to Binance, you need to find the TxID in OKX's withdrawal records. If you sent from a wallet, check the transaction history in that wallet.

Step 1: Find the TxID on the Sending Platform First
A TxID (transaction hash) is a unique string of characters automatically generated after a transaction is confirmed on-chain. Whoever initiates the transfer holds the TxID.
Option A: Withdrew from an exchange
Open the platform you sent the assets from (OKX, Gate.io, etc.), and go to "Assets" → "Withdrawal Records" or "History"
Find the corresponding withdrawal order. The order details will show the TxID or "Transaction Hash"
Copy that string of characters (usually 64 characters, made up of letters and numbers)
Option B: Sent from a personal wallet
Open the wallet app you used (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, etc.), and go to the transaction history for that coin
Find the outgoing transaction, tap into the details page, and you will see the Transaction Hash or TxID
Copy it

Step 2: Use the TxID to Check the Status On-Chain
Once you have the TxID, don't just wait for Binance. Check the blockchain explorer yourself to see whether the transaction actually went through.
TRC20 (USDT): Go to tronscan.org and search for the TxID
ERC20 (ETH/USDT): Go to etherscan.io and search for the TxID
BEP20: Go to bscscan.com and search for the TxID
There are three possible on-chain statuses:
Case A: It shows "Success" but the funds haven't arrived in Binance
This is the most common situation. The transaction is confirmed on-chain, but Binance's internal processing hasn't finished yet. In this case, go back to the Binance App, enter "Wallet" → "Deposit Records", find the entry for "Deposit not credited? Find solutions here", and submit a self-service recovery request with your TxID. Binance's system will automatically reconcile based on the hash, and the vast majority of compliant deposits are resolved within 24 hours.
Case B: It shows "Pending" or "Unconfirmed"
This means the network hasn't finished confirming the transaction yet. Different chains require different numbers of confirmations — Bitcoin usually needs 3-6 confirmations (30-60 minutes), Ethereum needs 12 confirmations (2-5 minutes), and TRC20 is relatively faster. Don't panic, just wait.
Case C: It shows "Fail"
The transaction failed. Binance cannot help you with this. You need to contact the sending platform or wallet support and ask them to handle it.
Risk reminder: A TxID is public on-chain data. Anyone can use a TxID to look up the transaction amount and addresses. Do not casually post your TxID in public chat groups or on social media, unless you are sending it to official customer support. Although it is already public on-chain, actively spreading it increases the risk of being targeted.
How to verify the operation is complete: If the transaction appears in your Binance deposit records with the status "Credited", it means the funds have arrived. If you submitted a self-service recovery request and there is still no update after more than 24 hours, contact Binance online customer support with the TxID for manual verification.
