Binance Alpha Box Shows Eligible but Claim Fails – How to Fix It

Just because it says "claimable" doesn't mean you'll definitely get it. A failed claim usually comes down to two things: not enough points, or a risk-control block. On top of that, Alpha Boxes are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis – once the allocation is gone, you'll see a failure even if you meet the requirements. Here's how to check each cause and what to do about it.

Step 1: Check whether your Alpha Points meet the current threshold

Open the Binance app, go to [Alpha Event] – [Airdrop], and check the points threshold for the current activity and your Alpha Points balance.

Case A: Your points balance is below the current threshold → This is the most common reason. The threshold for Alpha Box claims drops automatically over time – by 5 points every 5 minutes. If your points are below it, you can't claim. Wait until the threshold falls into your points range and try again. But note: it's first-come, first-served – wait too long and the reward pool may run out.

Case B: Your points balance meets or exceeds the threshold, but you still get a failed claim message → Move on to the next step.

Done means: You know the exact numbers for your own points balance and the current activity's threshold.

Prerequisite: You are logged into your Binance account and have completed KYC identity verification.

Step 2: Check whether your account is restricted by risk controls

If you have enough points but still can't claim, you've likely tripped the platform's risk-control rules. Binance's risk system will block accounts it considers "suspicious" from participating in airdrop campaigns.

How to check: Open [Reward Centre] – [Daily Check-in] and see what the check-in feedback says.

Case A: Check-in shows "+1 point" → Your account is basically normal, low risk-control suspicion.

Case B: Check-in shows "Unable to claim reward" → Your account has been flagged by risk controls. This is the root cause of the claim failure.

Done means: You have confirmed whether the daily check-in works normally.

Step 3: Confirm you haven't already claimed one

Each eligible user can claim successfully only once per Alpha Box activity. If you already claimed once during this activity, clicking the "claimable" button again will fail.

How to check: Look at [Airdrop Record] or [Alpha Activity History] and confirm whether there is a successful claim record for this activity.

Done means: You've confirmed there is no successful claim record in the current activity.

Step 4: What to do after a failed claim

Case A (insufficient points): → Wait for the threshold to drop automatically (5 points every 5 minutes). Try again once the threshold is within your points range.

Case B (account under risk control): → The only option is to contact Binance customer support. When submitting the appeal, explain that you're "unable to claim the Alpha Box." Note that support can usually only tell you it's an "internal rule" without giving a detailed explanation. Wait for the review result after appealing.

Case C (system took 15 points but you didn't get the box): → This is a system error and you need to submit a ticket. Have the following ready: the activity name, the time of the claim attempt, and screenshots showing your points balance and the failure message. Submit the appeal through the [Help Centre].

Done means: You have followed the appropriate action for your case, or you have submitted an appeal and received a ticket number.

Common reason for failure: Assuming that "showing eligible" means you can claim anytime. Alpha Boxes are distributed first-come, first-served. Even if your points qualify, you won't get one after the allocation has been exhausted. Take action as early as possible once the activity opens.

Risk reminder: Claiming an Alpha Box costs 15 Alpha Points, and these points are not refunded once deducted. If you try multiple times and the points are taken but the claim keeps failing, keep your screenshots and submit a ticket to recover the points.

How to confirm after completing the steps

  • For insufficient points: Once the threshold drops below your points balance and the claim succeeds, the tokens will be distributed to your Binance wallet or spot account.

  • For risk-control cases: After appealing, wait for customer service feedback. The issue is resolved when the status updates or affected features return to normal.

  • For points deducted but not received: Once the ticket is processed, the token distribution or point refund is your confirmation.
