OKX Team Token Lockup: Unlock and Withdrawal Verification

There is no separate feature called "team token lockup" in OKX's product system. OKX does not provide a service for "locking up tokens for a team." Instead, it offers two related things: a token unlock calendar and Earn lockup products. You need to first figure out which one you are dealing with.

If you want to know when a project's team tokens will unlock and how many will be released, OKX has a dedicated Token Unlocks feature. It shows the token vesting and unlock timeline, including allocations for the team and investors.

Web version: From the homepage, go to the Markets menu, search for the token you want to check, open that token's Overview page, and find the Token unlocks option. App version: Use the search bar to find the token, go to its overview page, and select "Token unlocks."

This feature is a read-only query tool. It does not involve locking or unlocking funds in your account. It helps you judge "when selling pressure in the market might arrive," not "how to withdraw my money."

You may want to lock up your own tokens to earn yield

If you mean locking up tokens you hold for a period of time in exchange for yield, the corresponding OKX product is the Earn series. Here you need to distinguish between several types, because the rules for "whether you can withdraw early" are completely different.

Simple Earn (Fixed Term): After subscribing, your funds are locked and early redemption is not supported. When the order matures, principal and interest are returned together, and settlement may be delayed by up to 24 hours. If the borrower repays early, how your interest is calculated depends on the timing: if repayment happens more than 120 hours before the original maturity time, the full interest is still calculated based on the original term; if repayment happens within 120 hours, interest is calculated based on the actual borrowing duration.

Onchain Earn: This is on-chain staking. After funds go on-chain, you need to submit a redemption request. Some products support Fast Redemption. The system releases a portion of redemption assets every day, but the daily redeemable amount is limited by the lower of your personal limit and the platform's dynamic quota. If redemption demand is high, you may enter a queue. During the queue, you will not receive assets, but you can cancel the request.

Trading account Auto-Earn: If your funds are in a trading account and you enable Auto-Earn, USDT/USDC will be automatically lent out, and ETH/SOL and similar assets will be automatically staked. These funds can still be used as margin and do not affect trading.

How to tell which situation you are in

If you are looking for "a coin's team unlock schedule": Use the Token Unlocks feature under Markets. This is public information and does not involve any action on your account.

If you are looking to "lock up your own tokens to earn interest": Go to the "Earn" section and check the product type carefully. Fixed-term products cannot be redeemed early after subscription. For Onchain Earn, check whether the specific product supports Fast Redemption. Flexible products can be redeemed at any time, but interest stops accruing once redeemed.

If you have already locked up funds but want to withdraw: First confirm which product you bought. Simple Earn fixed-term orders cannot be redeemed before maturity. This is not a "settings issue"; it is a product rule. For Onchain Earn, if the funds are already on-chain, you need to submit a redemption request and wait for processing.
