When using OKX copy trading, if you find the sell button unclickable or get an "Order Failed" pop-up, it is rarely a platform glitch. Most likely, the amount you want to sell is lower than the minimum order limit for that trading pair. This detail is very easy to overlook in OKX's spot copy trading mode, since the system will split positions, which may result in very small individual holding amounts.

Do not click the sell button repeatedly. Follow the steps below to check, and you can fix this issue in most cases.
Step 1: Confirm if your order amount is lower than the minimum limit
What to do: Verify that your current pending order amount meets the OKX exchange's minimum order requirements.
How to do it: Go to the "Open Orders" or "Positions" list, find the order you cannot sell, and check the Amount column. This number can be extremely small, for example, 0.0001 BTC.
Next, go to the trading page of that specific trading pair, find the minimum order amount (also called "minimum trading amount") for this crypto. You can usually find it in the "Trading Rules" section below the K-line chart, or the "Minimum Amount" prompt next to the order input box. If your holding amount is smaller than this minimum value, the system will reject your order directly.
Completion check: You have confirmed your holding amount, and the official minimum order size for that trading pair.

Step 2: Follow different situations based on your position amount to resolve the issue
If the sell failure is indeed caused by the amount being too small, you can decide your next operation based on where the small position comes from:
Situation A: Small fractional position obtained from copy trading. You usually do not need to force a sell in this window. You can choose to keep holding, and the system may merge all positions of the same crypto when the next copy trading sync runs, to combine them into a single order that meets the minimum amount requirement before processing. You can also just ignore this small position and operate it later when your total asset size grows larger.
Situation B: Small fractional position you bought manually. If this is a leftover fractional amount after you manually placed a buy order in your spot account, first check if the platform allows market order closing for positions smaller than the minimum limit. Many platforms have looser restrictions for market orders than limit orders. If it is not supported, you need to add more to your position to reach the minimum required amount before you can sell it.
Common hidden failure reason: When you see a sell failure, your first instinct may be to cancel leftover pending orders in the "Open Orders" list. But if you have an unfilled limit order, that part of funds will be frozen, leading to insufficient "Available Balance", so you will still get an "Insufficient Balance" alert even if your total holding amount meets the minimum requirement. You can check the "Open Orders" list first, cancel any unfilled pending orders, then try the sell operation again.
Validation after operation: After adjustment, go back to the "Open Orders" page. If you can submit the sell order normally, or see the sell order status change to "Filled", that means the problem is fixed. You can also check the official trading rules for the target crypto before future operations to avoid running into the same limit issue again.
