The redemption time for On-chain Earn is not fixed—it can range from 1 day to several weeks, depending on which protocol you invested in. The official protocol clearly states that the specific redemption time depends on market conditions and may take days or weeks. This is not a platform delay; it is determined by the mechanism through which the on-chain staking protocol releases funds. Below is how to check and judge your redemption progress.

Step 1: First confirm which product you invested in
There are different protocols under On-chain Earn, and redemption cycles vary greatly. You can see the estimated cycle before investing, and you can also check it after investing.
How to do it: Open the OKX App, tap Assets at the bottom → Earn → find your On-chain Earn order and tap it to view the details page.
Completion standard: On the order details page, you can see the redemption cycle or estimated redemption time for that product. For example, the redemption cycle for MATIC is about 3–4 days, and for SOL it is about 3 days. Different products vary greatly.
Step 2: Submit a redemption request and watch the status change
How to do it: On the order details page, tap Redeem and confirm as prompted. After submission, the order status will update to "Redeeming" or "Pending".
Completion standard: The page shows "Redemption request submitted", and the order status changes from "Subscribed" to "Redeeming", with no new rewards accruing.
Common notes: On-chain Earn redemption is not instant. You need to wait for the protocol to release the staked assets. This time can range from 1 day to more than 10 days, depending on the protocol and market liquidity.
Step 3: Check progress—two paths
Case A: The product supports "Fast Redemption"
Some On-chain Earn products support fast redemption. The system will try to give you a portion of the assets in batches every day within the redemption cycle.
How to do it: After submitting the redemption request, the system automatically attempts fast redemption. The daily redeemable amount is affected by the platform's daily quota and your personal limit. If redemption demand is high and the daily quota is used up, your request will enter the redemption queue. During the queue period, you will not receive assets yet, but you can cancel the request at any time.
Completion standard: On the order details page, you can see the "Received" amount increase day by day, and the status changes from "Queued" to "Partially Redeemed", and finally to "Redeemed".
Case B: The product does not support fast redemption and uses standard redemption
Standard redemption means waiting for the protocol to release the staked assets. The specific time is uncertain and may range from a few days to a few weeks. After redemption is completed, the assets will automatically return to your funding account.
Completion standard: The order disappears from the order list and is no longer displayed after redemption is completed, and the corresponding assets are received in your funding account.
Step 4: Check history records
If your order has already been redeemed, you will not find it in the list.
How to do it: Assets → Earn → Bills or History, filter by time, and you can see completed redemption records and arrival details.
Completion standard: There is a "Redemption completed" record in the bills, and the amount and arrival time match.
Risk reminder:
Rewards stop accruing after you submit the redemption request. The official protocol clearly states: once you submit a redemption request, you will no longer accrue any rewards for the digital assets corresponding to that redemption request, and the assets will not continue to earn interest after submission.
How to verify completion
The order disappears from the Earn order list (redemption completed), and you can see the corresponding assets in Assets → Funding Account. Then check the arrival record and time in Earn → Bills.

FAQ
Q: Can I cancel a redemption request while it is in the redemption queue?
A: Yes. When the order status is "Queued", you can cancel the redemption request. The assets will remain in the Earn order and continue to accrue rewards. Once the actual redemption process begins (assets start to be released), it may no longer be possible to cancel.
Q: What is the difference between fast redemption and standard redemption?
A: Fast redemption pays you in batches within the redemption cycle, reducing waiting time, but there is a daily quota limit. Standard redemption means you receive the funds all at once after the entire cycle ends. Fast redemption is not supported by all products—just check whether the product page indicates it.
Q: Do the principal and interest arrive together after redemption?
A: Yes. On-chain Earn rewards are settled together at redemption and are not paid separately. After redemption is completed, the principal and accumulated rewards return to your funding account together. Rewards stop being calculated at the moment you submit the redemption request.
