OnOKX, setting the language and currency unit follows different paths depending on the platform, but the logic is consistent:language affects interface text, currency unit affects the display of asset and order prices, and the two do not affect each other.

1. Language Settings

Language settings determine the display language of the App or web interface. Usually, it defaults to the system language of your phone or browser. If the default setting does not meet your needs, you can adjust it manually.

App steps:

  1. Tap [Profile] at the bottom right to enter your personal center, then tap the gear icon ⚙️ at the top right to enter [Settings].

  2. Find [Preferences] (or [General Settings] in some versions) in the settings list.

  3. Tap [Language], then select the language you need (e.g., Simplified Chinese, English, etc.).

Web steps:

  1. After logging into the official website, click your profile avatar at the top right to enter [Personal Center].

  2. Find [Preferences] on the left or on the page, then click the [Language] option.

  3. From the list of supported languages, select the language you want to switch to. The page will automatically refresh and apply the new language.

Note:In some regulated regions (e.g., the United States, the United Kingdom), only the English interface may be available, and switching to other languages may not be possible.

2. Currency Unit (Pricing Currency) Settings

This setting determines how prices are displayed in the asset overview, market list, and order book. Itonly changes the display format, not the settlement currency of trades. For example, after changing the pricing unit to CNY, the total asset value will be converted to RMB based on the real-time exchange rate, making it easier for you to intuitively understand the value of your assets.

OKX supports selectingfiat currencies(e.g., USD, CNY, EUR, etc.) ormajor cryptocurrencies(e.g., BTC, ETH, etc.) as the pricing unit.

App steps:

  1. On the [Profile] page, tap the gear icon ⚙️ at the top right to enter [Settings].

  2. Select [Trading Settings] from the settings list, then scroll down to find [Pricing Currency Preference].

  3. Tap the currently displayed pricing unit, then select the currency you want from the pop-up list.

Web steps:

  1. After logging into the official website, click your profile avatar at the top right to enter [Personal Center].

  2. Select [Trading Preferences] (or Preferences) from the left navigation bar.

  3. In the [Default Pricing Unit] area, you can set the pricing currency separately for different trading types such as spot, margin, and futures.

  4. After setting, check [Sync to App] to apply the changes made on the web to the mobile app.

Shortcut:On the App's [Assets] page, tap the currency symbol next to the total asset valuation to quickly switch the pricing unit.

FAQ

What if I cannot find the language I need when switching languages? This may be due to language restrictions in your regulated region. Try checking if the App is the latest version, or confirm whether the system language setting of your phone/browser matches the desired language.

Will changing the pricing unit affect the profit/loss of actual trades? No.The pricing unit only affects the interface display. The actual profit/loss, fees, etc., are all calculated based on the base currency of the trading pair (e.g., BTC, USDT) and are not affected by the display unit.

Can I set the pricing currency independently for sub-accounts?Yes.On the sub-account management page, you can independently configure the pricing unit for each sub-account, so it does not follow the main account settings. This is useful for team collaboration scenarios.
