How to Transfer Crypto from Bybit to OKX
Transferring from Bybit to OKX involves two steps: first, get your OKX deposit address, then withdraw from Bybit. This is an on-chain transfer, not an internal transfer. Choosing the wrong network will result in loss of funds.

Prerequisites: Check Both Account Statuses
Before you start, confirm two things:
Your Bybit account has completed KYC verification, otherwise withdrawal functionality is restricted.
Your Bybit funds are in the "Funding Account" — Bybit's on-chain withdrawals can only be initiated from the Funding Account. If your assets are in the Trading Account, you need to transfer them to the Funding Account first.
Also, check whether the cryptocurrency you want to transfer is supported for deposit on OKX. If you're unsure, go to OKX's [Deposit] page and search for that coin. If it appears and offers network options, it's supported.
Step 1: Get Your Deposit Address on OKX
What to do: Generate your exclusive OKX deposit address to receive the coins from Bybit.
How to do it:
Open the OKX app or website, go to [Assets] → [Deposit] → [On-chain Deposit].
Search for the coin you want to deposit (e.g., USDT).
Select the deposit network — this is the most critical step. The page will list the supported networks for that coin (e.g., USDT typically has ERC-20, TRC-20, Solana, etc.).
Copy the deposit address displayed. For some coins (such as XRP, EOS, XLM), you must also copy the Tag/Memo; missing it will prevent the funds from being credited.
What counts as done: You have copied the deposit address (and tag/memo, if needed) and noted which network you selected.
⚠️ Choosing the network is choosing your lifeline. If you select ERC-20, you can only receive USDT on ERC-20. If you select TRC-20, only TRC-20. If the networks don't match, your funds are lost on the blockchain.
Step 2: Initiate Withdrawal on Bybit
What to do: Withdraw coins from your Bybit Funding Account to the OKX address you copied in Step 1.
How to do it:
Log in to the Bybit app, go to [Assets] → [Funding Account].
Click [Withdraw] and search for the coin you intend to transfer.
Paste the OKX deposit address copied in Step 1.
Select the withdrawal network — it must exactly match the one you chose on OKX.
Enter the amount. Note that Bybit displays the minimum withdrawal amount and fee for that coin on the selected network.
Complete the security verification (email code / Google Authenticator), and submit the withdrawal request.
What counts as done: The Bybit page shows "Withdrawal Submitted", and you have obtained the transaction hash (TxID).
Step 3: Confirm Receipt on OKX
What to do: Check on OKX whether the deposit has been successful.
How to do it:
Go to OKX [Assets] → [Deposit History].
When the status is "Pending", it means the blockchain is processing. After the required number of block confirmations, the status will change to "Completed", and the funds will enter your Spot Account.
Bybit on-chain withdrawals typically take 15 minutes to 1 hour, possibly longer during network congestion.
What counts as done: The transferred coins appear in your OKX Spot Account, and the balance has been updated.
Common Failure Reasons
Network mismatch — the most serious error. USDT has multiple versions like ERC-20, TRC-20, BSC. Choosing the wrong chain makes funds virtually irrecoverable.
Assets not in Funding Account — Bybit on-chain withdrawals can only be made from the Funding Account. If assets are in the Trading Account, transfer them first.
Missing Tag/Memo — coins like XRP, EOS, XLM require both address and tag/memo, otherwise the deposit cannot be credited.
Amount below minimum limit — Bybit sets a minimum withdrawal requirement for each coin and network; you can't submit if it's below that.
Copy-pasted address with missing characters — after pasting, manually check the address, especially the first and last few characters.
Risk Warnings
On-chain transfers are irreversible. Once submitted, no one can undo it.
For the first time, we recommend sending a small test amount — transfer around the minimum to confirm the address and network are correct before moving large sums.
Fees vary widely across networks: USDT via TRC-20 usually costs a few cents, via ERC-20 could be several dollars. Consider the fee when selecting the network.

How to Verify You've Completed the Operation Correctly
Go to OKX [Assets] → [Spot Account], search for the coin you transferred — if the balance has increased, the transfer is done.
If it hasn't arrived, check OKX [Deposit History] for the status: "Pending" means keep waiting; "Completed" but balance unchanged? Refresh the app or log out and back in.
Once you have the TxID, check the transaction status on the corresponding blockchain explorer (e.g., Etherscan, TRONSCAN). If it's confirmed on-chain but OKX hasn't credited it after more than 30 minutes, submit a support request via OKX [Help Center] with the TxID and a deposit screenshot.
