Step 2: Identify Your Account Mode

After entering "Account Mode", you will see which mode your current account is in. The unified account system includes the following four modes:

  • Simple Mode: Supports spot trading only. This is the default mode for new users after registration.

  • Single-Currency Margin Mode: Allows you to use the same currency as margin for spot and contract trading.

  • Multi-Currency Margin Mode: Multiple currencies can be used as margin, and profits and losses can offset each other.

  • Portfolio Margin Mode: The most advanced mode.

If you have not used your account since registration, it is normal to see "Simple trading mode" displayed. If you want to switch to a more advanced mode, the system usually requires you to complete a short trading knowledge quiz first.

Requirements before switching modes: If your current account still has unfilled pending orders or open positions, the system will prevent you from switching modes. You must cancel all pending orders and close all positions before you can make changes.
