Why can't you move it? — The "freeze" rule during staking
OKX Jumpstart works like this: when you stake OKB during the event, the system freezes that OKB. It is not unfrozen until the event ends.
Goal: During the Jumpstart event, move OKB from your funding account into the Jumpstart pool.
Path: OKX App → Finance → Jumpstart → find the event → tap "Stake" and enter the OKB amount to confirm.
Completion standard: The OKB balance in your funding account decreases, the Jumpstart page shows you have staked successfully, and mining rewards begin to accrue.
Note: Staked OKB cannot be moved, but you can unstake at any time to release it back to your funding account. However, once you unstake, current mining rewards stop accruing. To continue mining, you must stake again.
Staking period length: from 3 days to 14 days
Different projects have different staking windows. The early OKT genesis event lasted 14 days. The recent ANIME project staking period is 3 days. Most projects are usually around 3 to 7 days.

After Jumpstart ends, when can OKB be traded again?
Goal: Wait for the staking period to end and OKB to unfreeze automatically.
Instructions: After the event ends, the system automatically unstakes all OKB that was not already unstaked and sends mining rewards. No manual action is needed.
Completion standard: The frozen OKB amount in your funding account returns to available balance, and you can place normal orders in spot trading.
Risk reminder: If you buy OKB from the market temporarily to join a Jumpstart project, consider the risk of OKB price changes during the staking period. While OKB is frozen, you cannot sell it to stop losses. If the price falls, you can only watch the paper loss. How to check after completion
After the event ends, check your OKB balance in the funding account. If the amount is back to the pre-staking state (minus OKB deducted by the event) and there is no "frozen" tag, it has been unfrozen. Go to spot trading and try placing a sell order for OKB. If you can enter the amount normally, it means you can trade again.
