After you turn on the BNB fee discount, it applies to your very next trade. You do not need to wait for a system refresh or overnight update. As long as your account has enough available BNB balance, the discount is automatically applied to the next order's fees from the moment the toggle is switched on.

Step 1: Make sure you have enough "available" BNB
Before enabling the discount, your account needs to have a sufficient available BNB balance. Staked BNB cannot be used to pay trading fees — BNB has a 7-day unstaking period, and only after unstaking is complete and the funds return to your available balance can they be used for fee deduction.
Step 2: Find the "Use BNB to Pay Fees" toggle in your trading settings
App: Open the Binance app, tap the profile icon in the top-left corner or go to your personal center, find the "Fees" or "Fee Rate" section, and turn on the "Use BNB to Pay Fees" toggle.
Website: Log in to the Binance website, go to the "Fees" page, scroll down to find the same "Use BNB to Pay Fees and Enjoy a 25% Discount" toggle, and switch it on.
Futures account: The BNB discount for futures needs to be enabled separately. You also need to transfer BNB from your spot account to your USDⓈ-M futures wallet first, and then enable "Use BNB to Pay Fees" in the futures trading interface.
Common reasons for failure: You enabled the BNB discount for spot trading but not for futures, or there is no BNB balance in your futures account. Both situations will cause futures trades to not receive the discount, and the system will deduct fees from other assets at the original rate.

Step 3: Verify with a small test trade after enabling
After turning on the toggle, you can place a small limit order, such as buying or selling a few dollars' worth of a low-cap coin. Once filled, go to "Wallet - Spot Account - Transaction History" and check the fee deduction record for that order. If it shows BNB was deducted instead of USDT or another asset, the discount is already active.
Spot: The standard fee rate is 0.1%. With BNB payment, it drops to 0.075%, which is a 25% discount. This is a long-term policy with no limit on the number of trades.
Futures: Using BNB to pay futures trading fees gives you a 10% discount. For futures, you need to enable the toggle separately in the futures trading interface.
Risk reminder: Once the toggle is on, every trade's fees will be automatically deducted from your BNB balance. If the fee amount for a particular order exceeds your available BNB balance, the system will make up the difference using other assets, but the discount only applies to the portion paid with BNB. So it is best to keep some BNB in your account to ensure every trade can be fully covered.
How to verify completion: In the spot or futures trading interface, enter a small order amount and check the fee shown on the order confirmation page. Confirm that BNB payment is selected and the discounted amount is displayed. After the trade is filled, check the "Transaction History" to verify the deducted asset and amount.
