Prerequisites

  • Logged in to your Binance account.

  • You have initiated a withdrawal and the status still shows "Pending" or "Processing".

  • Have ready the coin, amount, and time of the withdrawal.

Step 1: Distinguish the Three "Pending" Statuses

Open the Binance App or website, go to [Wallet] → [Transaction History] or [Withdrawal History], find the order and check the status description.

Case A: Status shows "Processing" or "Pending Review" This means the request has been submitted but Binance's internal review hasn't finished. It could be queued for system processing, or the risk control system flagged the withdrawal for additional review.

Case B: Status shows "Completed" but you haven't received the on-chain confirmation This means Binance has broadcast the transaction and generated a TxID, but the blockchain network hasn't confirm it yet. Go to Step 2 to check network confirmations.

Case C: Status shows "Rejected" or "Cancelled" This means the review failed and the withdrawal was rejected. Check the system notification or email for the rejection reason.

Completion standard: You've identified whether the withdrawal is in "internal pending", "awaiting on-chain confirmation", or "rejected".

Step 2: Common Reasons for Internal Review Delays

If the status is still "Processing", these factors may cause a delay:

  • Incomplete KYC verification: Binance requires identity verification before withdrawals. If incomplete, withdrawals might be blocked.

  • Account security change: Recently changing your password, resetting two-factor authentication, or changing your linked email/phone number can trigger a 48–120 hour withdrawal lock.

  • Large withdrawal triggering risk control: Large amounts or withdrawals to a new address or wallet may be flagged and require manual review.

  • Travel Rule questionnaire not completed: Some cross-border withdrawals require a recipient information questionnaire. If not filled in or incomplete, the review will stall.

Many assume "Pending" is just a system glitch, but it might be due to unresolved compliance requirements. After submitting a withdrawal, check the order status in wallet history. If it's "Processing", the delay could be from review queues, security checks or network congestion. Check the App for any pending questionnaires or notifications, complete them, and wait for the system to process.

Step 3: On-Chain Confirmation Stage – Insufficient Confirmations

If the status shows "Completed" but the funds haven't arrived, the transaction has left Binance and entered the blockchain confirmation stage. Different chains require different numbers of confirmations: the BTC network generally needs 2 confirmations before crediting, while FIL needs 910 node confirmations before funds are distributed.

What to do:

  • Click the "Transaction ID" (TxID) in the withdrawal record to open a block explorer and check the current confirmations.

  • If confirmations haven't met the receiving platform's minimum requirement, continue waiting.

Completion standard: You've confirmed whether the withdrawal has a TxID and whether the confirmation count meets the threshold.

Step 4: If Rejected – Check the Reason and Re-submit

If the status shows "Rejected" or "Cancelled", Binance usually sends the rejection reason to the App notification center or your registered email. Common reasons include:

  • Incorrect withdrawal address or network

  • Failed security verification

  • Recipient information doesn't meet Travel Rule requirements

After correcting the issue, re-initiate the withdrawal.

Risk warning: Once the withdrawal status is "Completed" and a TxID is generated, the transaction is irreversible and cannot be cancelled or reversed on Binance's end. If you entered the wrong network or address, Binance cannot help recover the assets; you must contact the receiving platform yourself. Anyone claiming they can "reverse your on-chain transaction" is a scammer.

How to Verify After Completion

Open Binance App [Wallet] → [Transaction History], find the withdrawal:

  • Status "Processing": Wait, usually updates to "Completed" or generates a TxID within 30–60 minutes.

  • Status "Completed": Copy the TxID, check confirmations on a block explorer, and wait for the receiving platform to credit the funds.

  • Status "Rejected": Check the App notification center and email for the reason, correct the issue, and try again.

Verification channels: Binance App [Wallet] → [Transaction History] page, block explorer (via TxID). If the status remains "Processing" for more than 2 hours, contact customer support via the Binance Help Center and provide a screenshot of the withdrawal record.
