Before sending funds to an old address, confirm one thing: Did you receive an email from Binance asking you to change your address?
If not, your old address still works. If you received it but have not requested a new address, your old address has a 30-day grace period. But if you already clicked "Get New Address," the old address stops working immediately — your funds are safe, but they will not be credited automatically. You will need to handle it manually.
First, check: Has your old address "expired"?
Your old address is no longer valid if any of the following is true:
Case A: You already requested a new address — the old address becomes invalid the moment you click "Get Address," regardless of whether you have sent funds to the new address.
Case B: You received an email notice but did nothing, and 30 days passed — the old address expires automatically 30 days after you receive the email.
Did not receive a notice? Keep using it, do not change anything. Binance is migrating addresses in batches, so not all users are affected. Binance officially states: "If a user has not received an official notice from Binance, please continue using the current deposit address."
What to do if you already sent funds to an expired address?
Do not panic. Your funds are safe; they just will not be credited automatically. You need to manually use "One-Click Credit."
How to do it on the website: Log in to Binance → top right [Wallet] → [Wallet History]. Find the deposit record that was not credited, click to expand it, then click [One-Click Credit].
How to do it in the App: Log in to Binance → bottom [Wallet] → [Spot]. Tap the clock-like "Transaction History" icon in the top right, switch to [Deposit] - [Crypto], find the transaction, and tap [One-Click Credit] at the bottom.
Completion standard: After you click "One-Click Credit," the page will show "Processing," and funds usually arrive in your spot wallet within 1 hour.
Common failure reason: You cannot find the "One-Click Credit" button
If the button does not appear, the transaction is not in the list that can be claimed manually. Go to the "Deposit Not Credited Query" page and submit a request with the transaction ID (TxID).
Risk reminder: Repeatedly sending funds to an expired address
Every time you send funds to an expired address, you need to manually use "One-Click Credit" again. Some people find this annoying, then forget to change the address next time and make the same mistake. The safest approach: once you receive the email, go to the "Deposit" page to get a new address, and replace the saved old address in your wallet.
How to check that the operation is complete
Go to [Wallet] - [Spot] and check your balance. If the number has increased, the funds have arrived. If you clicked "One-Click Credit" more than 1 hour ago and the funds still have not arrived, check the status on the "Deposit Not Credited Query" page.
