Users who use an invite code during registration need to confirm whether the referral commission is bound. Referral benefits affect the fee discount on every subsequent trade. It does not take effect automatically just because you have opened an account, so you need to check it yourself in advance. The referral relationship is bound at the moment of registration. The referral discount enjoyed by the invited user only starts to be calculated and distributed after the first trade is made, but the referral relationship itself is already determined at registration and does not depend on whether the first trade has been completed.

New user benefit: Enjoy 20% off trading fees upon registration!
Step 1: Check whether the referral relationship has been established
What to do: Confirm whether your account is already bound to an inviter.
How to do it: Log in to the Binance App, tap the avatar in the top left corner of the homepage or the "My" icon, find the [Referral Commission] or [Referral] entry, then scroll down and look for fields related to "Invited User" or "My Inviter."
Completion standard: If you can see your inviter's ID or username, it means the referral relationship has been bound. If this area is blank, it means you did not enter an invite code during registration — in this case it is basically impossible to add it afterward, and you can only register again with a new account.
Step 2: Confirm the discount percentage available to the invited user
What to do: Check how much fee discount you can receive.
How to do it: Check your referral benefit description on the [Referral Commission] page. Invited users enjoy a default 10% trading fee discount. If the inviter is willing, they can also allocate an additional 0%-20% to you, so the actual discount range you can receive is 10%-30%.
Completion standard: You clearly know the discount percentage you currently enjoy. If the page does not show a specific number, you can ask the inviter whether they have allocated extra discount to you.
Step 3: Verify whether the referral commission is effective through your first trade
What to do: Use actual transaction records to verify whether the referral relationship has taken effect.
How to do it: Complete a small spot trade and make sure the order has been filled. A limit order only counts after it is filled. After the trade is completed, go to [Wallet] → [Spot Account] → [Funds Flow] or [Transaction History], and check the fee deduction details for that order.
Completion standard: In the transaction record, the "Fee" column shows the discounted rate. For example, if the original rate was 0.1%, it will show 0.08% or lower after the discount. Referral rewards, which are the cashback given to you, are settled on a T+1 basis, meaning they can be checked the day after the trade. The invited user's fee rebate is 10% by default, distributed on T+1, and can be claimed on the Binance wallet referral page.

Step 4: If you do not see the referral rebate after your first trade
What to do: Check common causes.
How to do it:
Confirm whether the trade was actually filled: An unfilled order does not generate fees, so there is no referral commission.
Whether BNB is used to pay fees: If "Use BNB to pay fees" is enabled, the fee has already been discounted, and the referral commission is calculated based on the actual fee amount paid.
Wait for the T+1 settlement cycle: Referral rewards are not credited in real time. They are settled daily and can be claimed the next day, so confirm that the settlement cycle has passed.
How to verify completion: After the trade is completed, you can see the referral commission record on the [Referral Commission] page, or you can see in [Funds Flow] that the fee discount has taken effect.
