You first registered on Binance with a phone number, and later you want to switch the login method to email. That is possible. Binance supports binding both login methods at the same time. As long as your email has not been used to register another Binance account, you can go directly to the Security Center to add it. You do not need to create a new account.

Where is the entry to add an email
The path is simple. You do not need to search for a long time.
App: Open the Binance App → tap [Account] in the bottom right corner → [Security Center] → scroll down to find the [Email] option → tap it and enter the email address you want to bind.
Web: Log in to the official website → hover over the avatar in the top right corner → [Security Settings] → find [Email] in the "Login and Security" area → click [Edit] to change it.
Most people register with a phone number because it feels easier at first. But if you change your phone number or cannot receive SMS codes, login will get stuck. After binding an email, you have an extra long-term login channel.

How to log in after binding
After adding an email, the Binance login page will accept both phone number and email. You enter your email address and password, and the verification code will be sent to your bound email.
Risk reminder: Binding an email is a security setting change, so Binance will ask you to enter a Google Authenticator code or SMS code to confirm your identity. If you cannot access your Google Authenticator or phone number verification, this step will not work. So make sure your available verification methods are working before you proceed, to avoid getting stuck halfway.
How to verify after completing the operation: After adding successfully, go back to [Security Center] and check that the address shown after [Email] is the one you just bound, with the status "Verified." Then log out and log in again using the new email. If you can receive the verification code and log in normally, the process is complete.
