What to Do If Your Binance Account Full Name Includes a Middle Name?
You can directly copy your middle name as it appears on your official ID document, as it is a legitimate part of your full legal name. The only rule to note is that the "Middle Name" field is not for nicknames: you can either place your middle name alongside your given first name, or fill it separately in the dedicated middle name field, strictly following the name layout shown on your ID.

Prerequisites
Confirm the following two points before you start filling out the form:
Check the full name format printed on your ID document, to confirm if your middle name is listed as part of your given first name, or shown as a separate standalone field. ID formatting varies across different countries, so the correct filling method will differ accordingly.
Make sure all names you enter are your official legal names. You cannot enter nicknames, aliases, or informal names in the middle name field.
First Check Your ID Document: Where Is Your Middle Name Printed?
Determine how to fill out Binance's three name fields (First Name, Middle Name, Last Name) based on the actual name layout on your official ID.
Open your ID document and check its full name formatting:
Scenario A / Middle name is included as part of the first name on your ID: For example, if your ID shows Full Name: Mr. Inthu Tawi Taitap, where "Inthu Tawi" is the combined first name and middle name, and "Taitap" is your family name. In this case, you should fill out the Binance form as follows: First Name = Inthu Tawi, leave the Middle Name field blank, Last Name = Taitap.
Scenario B / Your ID has a dedicated standalone Middle Name field: Some official ID documents list Middle Name as a separate entry. In this case, fill in each field strictly matching what is printed on your ID, and enter your middle name in the dedicated Middle Name box.
Scenario C / No middle name is printed on your ID but you want to add one: Do not add any extra names. The system only recognizes content that appears on your official ID document, and nicknames cannot be entered in the Middle Name field.
You have completed this step once you confirm the correct placement of your middle name per your ID: either as part of your first given name, or as a separate standalone entry.
Common reasons for KYC failure: Entering a name that does not appear on your ID in the Middle Name field, or omitting the middle name that is printed as part of your full given name, leading to a mismatch between your manually entered content and the ID OCR scan result.
Fill Out the Form According to Binance KYC Page Layout
Navigate to the identity verification page, and enter your details in the corresponding system fields.
Binance's personal identity information entry interface usually features 3 input boxes: First Name, Middle Name, and Last Name.
If your first name and middle name have duplicate content, the system will send a "Duplicate content detected in First Name and Middle Name" prompt. When this happens, first double check what is printed on your ID document, then adjust your entry accordingly.
If your middle name is printed as part of your first name on the ID, use this example as reference: if your ID shows "Mr. Thapfah Na Maehongson", fill in First Name = Thapfah, leave Middle Name blank, Last Name = Na Maehongson.
Before submitting your application, read out the combined full name from your three entries to confirm the order matches exactly what is printed on your ID document.
You have completed this step once the combined content of the three name fields matches the full name character sequence on your official ID 100%.
Risk Warning: Once you submit and pass identity verification, modifying your registered name is very inconvenient. Binance supports name changes via a dedicated "Name Correction Application Form", but the processing time can take up to 3 weeks. While it is possible to correct a misspelled name, you will face a long waiting period for review.

How to Verify You Entered Your Name Correctly After Submission
After submission, you can use a publicly displayed system entry to confirm that your registered name is recorded correctly.
Once your identity verification is approved, navigate to P2P Trading → Payment Methods page. When you add any new payment method, the page will automatically display your pre-filled "Account Holder Name". This is the full legal name the system has registered for your account.
Check if this displayed name is 100% identical to the full name (including middle name) printed on your ID document. If they do not match, that means you filled in your name incorrectly, and you will need to submit a name correction application.
You have completed this step once the name displayed on the P2P payment method page matches your ID document's full name character for character.
Double check the combined full name sequence from your three entries after you finish filling out the form. If the name displayed on the P2P payment method page does not match your ID, search for "Name Correction" in the Binance in-app Help Center to submit an application and wait for the support team to process your request. This channel also works if you have already passed KYC but want to adjust the placement of your middle name.
