How to Resubmit After Binance KYC Rejection
A failed KYC application can be resubmitted. Note: you do not simply "edit" the original application – you need to adjust your materials based on the rejection reason, then initiate a new submission from the identity verification page.

Prerequisites
Before resubmitting, check three things:
You are logged into your Binance account, and the account status is normal (not frozen).
You have seen the specific rejection reason – the page usually includes a brief explanation (e.g., "photo unclear," "information mismatch").
You have the corrected materials ready (newly taken photos, correct document information).
Before resubmitting, understand the rejection reason. Binance's identity verification page displays the rejection note. Adjust your submission based on the specific reason – this is much more effective than blindly retrying.
Step 1: Check the rejection reason and determine what to correct
What to do: Go to the identity verification page and find the specific reason for the last failure.
How to do it:
Log in to the Binance app or website and go to [User Center] → [Identity Verification].
The page status will show "Rejected" or "Verify Fail", with a brief rejection explanation usually listed below.
Common failure reasons include:
Blurry ID photo, glare, or incomplete edges
Name or ID number filled in does not match the original document (e.g., pinyin spacing, capitalization)
Face obstructed during facial recognition (wearing glasses/hat/mask)
Invalid document type used (e.g., temporary ID, expired document)
Linked email or phone number not verified
When is this step complete?: You clearly know the specific reason for this rejection and which item needs to be corrected.
Step 2: Correct materials based on the reason and resubmit
What to do: After adjusting materials according to the failure reason, initiate a new submission on the identity verification page.
How to do it:
Case A: Photo issues (most common)
Re-photograph the front and back of your ID in a well-lit environment, ensuring all four edges of the document are visible, no glare, and text is clearly readable.
Turn off the camera's beauty filters; do not use screenshots or photos of a screen.
If facial recognition failed, remove glasses, hats, and masks to ensure your face is fully visible, and perform the process against a plain background.
Case B: Incorrect personal information
On the [Identity Verification] page, click [Edit Information] and correct fields such as name spelling, ID number, and date of birth one by one.
Ensure the corrected information matches the new original document character by character, including spaces and punctuation.
Case C: Unacceptable document type
If you previously used a temporary ID, Home Return Permit, or other non-standard documents, click [Change Document Type] and switch to a valid second-generation ID card or passport.
When is this step complete?: All materials are ready, and you click [Submit] to enter a new round of verification.
The system allows a maximum of 10 verification attempts per day. If rejected 10 times within 24 hours, you must wait 24 hours before trying again. (Source: Binance Help Center)
Step 3: If automatic verification fails repeatedly, apply for manual review
What to do: After two consecutive automatic review failures, the system opens a manual review option.
How to do it:
On the verification failure page, find and click the [Apply for Manual Review] button.
Upload supplementary materials as required: a photo of you holding the front of the ID, a photo of the back of the ID, and a recent bareheaded half-body photo. All three photos must be taken under the same lighting conditions.
Ensure all information on the ID is clearly visible in the handheld photo and your face is unobstructed.
When is this step complete?: You have successfully submitted the manual review application, and the page displays "Under Review."
Manual review typically takes 24–72 hours to respond, which is slower than automatic review, but can handle borderline cases that the system cannot judge automatically.
Step 4: If no edit option appears, contact customer support
What to do: If there is no "Resubmit" or "Edit" button on the identity verification page, you need to resolve the issue through customer support channels.
How to do it:
Open the Binance app or website, click [Support] in the bottom right corner, select the [Identity Verification] related issue and describe the situation.
Provide your account ID, a screenshot of the failure page, and corrected ID photos (you may mask sensitive information).
If you need to reset your KYC application, type "How to update Identity Verification" in the support chat; the support response will include a reset link.
When is this step complete?: Customer support has accepted your request, or you have re-entered the verification process via the reset link.
Common Rejection Reasons
Many users resubmit the same photo repeatedly without reading the rejection note, resulting in continuous rejections until the daily limit is exhausted. Read the reason every time you are rejected, correct the materials accordingly, and do not blindly retry.

Risk Warning
Submitting fake or purchased documents for KYC will result in Binance immediately flagging and freezing your account. This is not a "just try it" matter; it is a clear violation.
Do not trust any third-party services claiming "paid accelerated verification" or "guaranteed KYC passing." Binance does not charge for verification and does not entrust any intermediaries.
Next step: Log in to your Binance account, go to the [Identity Verification] page and check the current rejection reason. Correct the materials based on the reason and resubmit. If you fail more than two consecutive times, watch for the [Apply for Manual Review] button on the page. After submitting, pay attention to email and in-app notifications. Standard verification usually returns a result within hours; advanced verification may take 1–2 business days. If there is no response for more than 48 hours and no request for additional documents, contact online customer support to check the status.
