The submission entry for supplementary documents is on the same page where you originally submitted your verification, which is the "Identity Verification (Verification/Identification)" page. After completing the supplementary submission, you will receive the result via email or in-app notification.
Step 1: Go to the Identity Verification Page to Find the Supplementary Entry
Log in to the Binance App, tap the profile icon in the top-left corner, and select "Identity Verification" or "Verification". The status of your submitted review will be shown on the page. If the status is "Additional Documents Required," "Supplementary in Progress," or "Verification Failed," the page usually displays a supplementary entry point and instructions for providing the required materials. When you see the specific document types you need to supply and the upload button, this step is complete.
Step 2: Upload the Required Documents as Instructed
After clicking the supplementary entry, the system will list the types of materials you need to provide, such as proof of address, proof of funds source, or ID photos. Upload clear, complete photo files for each item according to the requirements. After confirming everything is correct, click submit. The page showing "Submitted" or "Under Review" means this step is done.
Step 3: Confirm the Supplementary Submission Was Successful
After submitting, return to the Identity Verification page and check whether the status has changed from "Pending Supplement" to "Under Review" or "Awaiting Review." Also check your registered email and in-app notifications to confirm you have received Binance's review progress notice. The process is complete once the status updates and you receive the confirmation notification.
Risk Reminder
After successful supplementary submission, the account usually remains in "Withdrawal Only" mode until all new materials pass review. If the same application is rejected too many times within one day, the system may limit the number of submissions that day, meaning you will need to wait 24 hours to try again.
Common Reasons for Failure
The most common issues causing supplementary documents to be returned are unclear files (blurry, glare, corners cropped) or expired issue dates (proof of address typically needs to be within the last 3 months). Another commonly overlooked problem is name/address mismatch — the information on the uploaded documents must exactly match the details you entered in your Binance account.
Subsequent Actions
After submitting the supplementary documents, monitor your email and in-app notifications. The review process usually takes from 10 minutes to 24 hours. If there is no feedback after 24 hours, you can contact Binance customer support, providing your registered email and review record number for manual follow-up.
