Yes. But the key is not "Binance" — it is "Flywire."

You cannot send USDT directly to your school. Flywire is the middleman. It accepts USDC or USDT, converts them into the local currency of the school's country after receiving them, and then sends that money to the school. Binance is just one of the exchange account connection options supported by Flywire, used to authorize the stablecoin transfer.
The full path for paying tuition with Binance
Step 1: Create a payment request on Flywire. Enter Flywire from your school's payment portal. The school website usually has a Flywire link. Enter the amount and select the payment country. If stablecoins are supported in your region, a Crypto or Stablecoins option will appear under payment methods.
Step 2: Choose USDC or USDT, then connect your exchange account. Flywire does not give you a receiving address so you can transfer on your own. You need to click "Connect wallet & Pay", select Binance in the pop-up window, log in to your Binance account, and authorize the transfer.
Step 3: Confirm and send. After authorization, USDC or USDT is deducted from your Binance spot wallet. Flywire starts processing after receiving it, and you can check the status on Flywire's tracking page.
Two conditions you must confirm in advance
First, whether your school has enabled stablecoin payments. Flywire's stablecoin feature is optional. Not all schools have turned it on. After you select the country and amount on the Flywire payment page, if you do not see the Crypto/Stablecoins option, it means this route is not available for you right now.
Second, whether your region is within the supported range. Flywire's stablecoin pilot mainly targets markets with "unstable currencies or high inflation." For mainland China, the RMB channel on Flywire usually uses bank transfer, Alipay, or UnionPay. Whether the stablecoin option is open to mainland China users depends on what you actually see on the Flywire page.
How to handle refunds and errors
Overpayment, underpayment, or expired link: Flywire will automatically refund to the same Binance account you originally used. Processing usually takes 24–48 hours. If you paid from Binance account A, the refund will only go back to account A.
Refund for a completed payment: The school must approve it first, then Flywire processes it. It usually takes 1–2 business days to return to the original exchange account. Network fees are covered by Flywire, but any withdrawal fee charged by Binance when sending out is not included.
Money has not reached the school: Flywire's tracking page will show the status. Stablecoin payments usually arrive quickly, but the school may still need extra time to update the student account. Keep Flywire's Payment ID and the Tx Hash from your Binance transaction record. If the status looks abnormal, giving these two numbers to Flywire support will make things much faster.
Limitations of Binance stablecoins
You cannot use Binance to pay tuition "directly." Flywire's stablecoin payment only supports USDC and USDT, and it must be authorized through Flywire's "Connect wallet" integration from an exchange account. Personal wallets such as MetaMask or Ledger are not supported, and transfer methods outside Binance do not use this route either.
If your school has not enabled Flywire's stablecoin option, or if your region is not within the supported range, the USDT in your Binance account cannot be used directly for that tuition payment. In that case, you need to convert it through other methods into a payment channel accepted by the school.
