Binance AI Pro went through a major pricing model change in October 2026. If you are thinking about subscribing now, you need to first check whether you are looking at the old subscription model or the new free + Premium model. The costs and exit logic are completely different.

AI Pro was originally launched at a public beta price of 9.99 USDC per month, with a regular price of 29.99 USDC per month. But reports from early October 2026 showed that Binance introduced a new AI product system called Binance Intelligence. AI Pro would move to a free usage model, with a Premium plan priced at 19.99 USDC per month. The content below covers both situations so you can compare based on what your account actually shows.
Version Differences: Which Tier Are You On?
Free version (after October 2026): Basic AI chat and market analysis features. It may not include automated trade execution or advanced strategy templates. The exact benefits depend on what is shown in your app.
Premium version (19.99 USDC per month): The full AI trading assistant. It supports connecting to virtual sub-accounts, executing spot and futures orders, and custom strategy workflows.
Old Beta version (9.99 USDC per month, being phased out): If you subscribed before the change, you will continue to renew at the original price until the system migrates you. The old version included 5 million credits per month. Credits are used to call advanced AI models such as ChatGPT, Claude, Qwen, and others.
Cost: Credits Are the Core Variable, Not "Unlimited Use After Subscribing"
In the AI Pro cost structure, credits deserve more attention than the monthly fee.
Every AI call consumes credits. Advanced models burn through credits much faster than basic models. The old plan gave 5 million credits per month, but unused credits do not roll over to the next month. This means if you use it lightly one month, your credits are wasted. If you use it heavily, you might run out in the middle of the month.
Running out of credits is something you need to take seriously. According to the FAQ, when credits run out, AI strategies and trading activities may be restricted, and you may not be able to use AI to cancel orders or close positions. The system will automatically switch to a basic model to keep running, but the basic model has limited abilities, so complex strategy execution may be affected.
Early usage data showed that users treated AI Pro as an execution tool rather than a chatbot. 68.69% of tool calls were execution commands such as placing orders or managing positions. 45.7% of sessions were triggered by system scheduled tasks rather than user-initiated chats. This "automated execution" pattern means credit consumption is continuous. It will not stop just because you are not actively chatting.
Exit: The 7-Day Refund Window Is Key
After your first payment, there is a 7-day window for a full refund. If you deactivate within 7 days of activation, AI Pro stops working immediately. Your account returns to regular Binance AI, and the refund is processed.
If you deactivate after 7 days, the refund channel is closed. Your AI Bot will continue running until the end of the current billing cycle. During that time, features remain available. After the cycle ends, all AI strategies are terminated, and any open positions will be closed.
If you need to stop all AI operations immediately, do not rely on "deactivating the subscription." Deactivation only stops renewal. Positions will not be handled until the cycle ends. The correct approach is to disconnect the AI account's API Key in settings. This will immediately cancel all orders, close all positions, and remove the API Key.
There is a grace period for failed renewals. If a paying user's balance is too low to cover the charge, the system will retry once per day for up to 2 extra days, for a total of 3 attempts. If payment still cannot be completed, access reverts to regular Binance AI without AI trading features. All running strategies are terminated and open positions are closed. New users making their first payment do not get this grace period.
Judgment: Who Should Subscribe and Who Should Not
Who should subscribe: You already use Binance for futures or spot trading. You want to use natural language to quickly build and execute strategies. You also accept the premise that "AI can make mistakes and losses are on you." Three Binance Square creators described their actual usage as treating AI as a second opinion or a filtering tool, while making the final decision themselves. Ghost Writer said: "Most people overestimate AI's ability to predict the future. AI is good at pattern recognition and speed, but not at handling true randomness and black swans."
Who should not subscribe: You expect AI to "make money for you automatically," or you do not plan to spend time understanding and adjusting strategies. The official FAQ clearly states: Binance AI Pro does not guarantee profit. AI trading is automated. Binance does not control the specific trading behavior of the AI and is not responsible for AI trading results. All losses are on you.
