OKX Wallet cross-chain assets not arriving is usually not really "lost"—just stuck at one stage. A cross-chain transaction differs from a regular transfer; it's broken into several steps: Swap on the source chain, relay by the cross-chain bridge, and the swap on the destination chain, any of which can get stuck.

Using the TxID (transaction hash) to check on a block explorer is the most direct troubleshooting method. Once you have the hash, open oklink.com (OKX's official block explorer), paste the hash and search. The result will tell you if the transaction is "Success", "Pending", or "Failed".
Step 1: Check source chain transaction status — See if the first step went out
[What to do]: Confirm whether the transaction on the source chain (the chain you initiated the cross-chain from) has been packaged and confirmed by miners.
[How to do]: Using the transaction hash you obtained, find the transaction's "Status" and "Confirmations" on the block explorer.
Scenario A: Status shows "Success", but the number of confirmations is insufficient. Cross-chain bridges need enough confirmations on the source chain before triggering the next step. If confirmations are not met, subsequent processes won't start. Wait until the required confirmations are reached (requirements vary by chain), then check the destination chain. Action: Wait 5–10 minutes and check again; if the confirmation count is increasing, it's working normally.
Scenario B: Status shows "Fail" or "Pending". This means the cross-chain request was never sent out. The most common cause is setting the gas fee too low, so miners didn't process the transaction, or your wallet address hasn't been activated yet (some chains like Tron and Aptos require receiving a native token first to activate the account; without activation, you can't send transactions). Action: If the gas is insufficient, retry with higher gas. If the address isn't activated, send a small amount of the native coin (e.g., TRX for Tron) to complete activation first.
Step 2: Check intermediate status via API or bridge page — Is the bridge still processing or refunding?
[What to do]: If the source chain transaction is successful but the destination chain hasn't received anything, check the cross-chain bridge processing progress.
[How to do]: Cross-chain bridges usually have their own query page, or you can check the detailStatus field via the OKX DEX API.
Scenario A: detailStatus shows "BRIDGE_PENDING" or "WAITING". The bridge is processing and hasn't reached the destination chain yet. This is the most common situation; just wait. It could take tens of minutes in slow cases.
Scenario B: detailStatus shows "REFUND". The bridge processing failed, and funds are being returned to the source chain address. This usually happens because you lack gas fees on the destination chain (e.g., Arbitrum requires ETH as gas for the final swap) or there is insufficient liquidity on the destination chain, making the transaction unexecutable. Action: If a refund is shown, wait for it to be returned, prepare gas on the destination chain, then try again. If the cause is "insufficient destination chain gas", send a little native coin to your wallet on the destination chain first.
High-risk warning: Choosing the wrong network leads to permanent asset loss. If you selected USDT-ERC20 to send to your OKX wallet but pasted a Tron address (TRC20), the assets will be sent to the wrong address and cannot be recovered. Always double-check before sending: Which network did you select? Does the destination address belong to that network?
Step 3: Check if the destination chain wallet "sees" but doesn't display the asset
[What to do]: If the destination chain transaction status shows success but doesn't appear in the wallet, you might not have added the token manually.
[How to do]: Go to your wallet's asset list, tap "Add Token" or "Manage Assets", search for the token's contract address and add it manually. Sometimes cross-chain transfers deliver tokens with wrapped names (e.g., you sent ETH but received WETH on the destination chain); you need to add that token contract manually to see it.
Scenario A: After adding the token, it shows up. It was just a display issue; the funds have already arrived.
Scenario B: After adding the token, it still doesn't show, but the on-chain status is "Success". It's possible that OKX Wallet does not support this asset on the current network. You can try importing your wallet seed phrase into another third-party wallet that supports that network to view it.
Common reasons for failure
Many people get stuck at "insufficient source chain confirmations" and start worrying, frequently retrying. In fact, waiting an extra 10–15 minutes until confirmations meet the threshold will automatically trigger the bridge. Another common mistake: not reserving gas fees (like ETH) on the destination chain after cross-chaining, causing the bridge to be unable to complete the final swap.
How to verify completion
Open oklink.com, enter the transaction hash, and check the detailStatus field. If it shows SUCCESS, the entire cross-chain route is completed. If this field isn't available, check whether both source chain and destination chain transaction records show "Success".

Next steps
If after checking, the entire chain of transactions shows "Success" but the asset still doesn't appear, confirm whether you have manually added the token on the destination chain (especially wrapped tokens like WETH, USDC.e). If it still doesn't show after adding, take a screenshot of the complete transaction hash, contact OKX Wallet customer support (via "Help & Feedback" in the app), provide the hash, and let the backend team assist with the audit. Verification channels: oklink.com transaction details page, or OKX Wallet App's [Cross-chain Transaction] history.
