What happens after the deadline?
OKX rules are clear: if the requested supplemental information is not submitted by the deadline, the related ticket is automatically closed by the system, and account functions enter a restricted state. Common restrictions include being unable to withdraw crypto, unable to open positions, and only being able to view assets. This is not a permanent ban. It only temporarily locks trading and withdrawal functions until you complete the missing information and pass review.
If your account is already restricted, log in to the OKX App, tap "My" in the bottom right corner, then "Security Center". Look for a red warning icon or "Account restricted" notice to see the restriction type and reason. Also check in-app messages, email, and SMS notifications linked to your account so you can prepare for the appeal.
How to fix it after the deadline?
If the deadline has passed, do not panic. You can move forward with two steps:
Step 1: Use the standard appeal channel. In the OKX App, open the Help Center and submit a ticket. Explain your situation and upload the documents required by the platform again. The review period is usually 1-5 business days.
Step 2: Use the expedited channel. If your ticket has no response for more than 48 hours, or the standard channel is moving too slowly, email
How long is the deadline?
Deadlines for submitting information are clearly different in different situations:

According to public information, only about 1% of platform users receive questions about source of funds or work and residence information. If you receive such a notice, simply submit the materials truthfully. It does not mean the platform is targeting you personally.
Important notes: When submitting supplemental materials, all files must be in JPG/PNG format, clear and unobstructed, and each file must not exceed 5MB. For fund proof appeals, a screenshot alone is not valid. You need to submit an on-chain signature. Sign the template text provided by the platform in your wallet, and the platform will verify the signature. Complete all actions through the official OKX App or website. Do not click any third-party links.

How to check after submitting
After submitting an appeal, go to "My" → "Help Center" → "My Tickets" to check the status. If it shows "Pending supplemental information", you only have a 48-hour window to act. If it shows "Under review", just wait for the result. If the status has not updated for more than 5 business days, use the email expedited channel mentioned above to push the process forward.
