Step 1: Tap "Need Help" in the Canceled Order
What to do: Find the reorder entry point and tell the system that you paid but the order was canceled.
How to do it:
Open the OKX App, go to the C2C or Fiat Trading page, and tap the Order Center icon in the top right corner.
Find the order that shows "Canceled" or "Timed Out" and open it.
At the bottom of the order details page, tap the "Need Help" button.
How to know you did it right: A list of options appears, including "I have paid but the order was canceled."
Step 2: Select "I Have Paid but the Order Was Canceled" and Upload Payment Proof
What to do: Use the official reorder channel to reconnect your payment to the order.
How to do it:
In the pop-up options, select "I have paid but the order was canceled."
The system will ask you to upload payment proof. Go to your bank app or payment tool and take a screenshot of the successful transfer or transaction details. The screenshot must include the transfer amount, recipient account, and timestamp.
Tap "Submit Payment Proof."
How to know you did it right: The page says "Payment proof submitted" or moves to the next step. The system will automatically notify both buyer and seller that a reorder process has started.
Important extra step: Pay attention to the instructions in the reorder process. If the system asks you to confirm whether you are willing to create a new order, tap it so the platform can generate a new order linked to the original one. If you do not actively tap the "Reorder" button, the platform may not be able to create a replacement order automatically, and you may need to go through a manual appeal. It is best to check the button prompts on every page and not exit after only uploading proof.
Step 3: If No Reorder Option Appears, File an Appeal Directly
What to do: Start a dispute manually so customer support can step in.
How to do it:
On the order details page, tap "Appeal."
Choose the appeal reason: "I have paid but the seller has not released the crypto" or "The order timed out and was canceled but I have already paid."
Upload your payment proof again in the appeal form. This can be a bank transfer screenshot, a payment success page screenshot, or an order details page screenshot.
Submit it and wait for customer support. They usually respond within 24 hours. During the appeal, the related crypto assets will be frozen until the dispute is resolved.
How to know you did it right: The page shows "Appeal submitted" and gives you an appeal ticket number.

Common Reasons for Failure
Reason 1: Incomplete payment proof Customer support needs to see the transfer amount, recipient account, and timestamp in the same screenshot. If any of these is missing, you may be asked to provide more materials, which can delay the process.
Reason 2: You wrote sensitive words like "coin," "USDT," or "OKX" in the transfer note OKX rules are clear: if the buyer includes crypto-related sensitive words in the transfer note, customer support will contact the seller to choose between releasing the crypto or refunding. If a refund is made, the buyer bears the transaction fee. If the seller chooses not to sell to you, you will only get a refund and may also have to cover the fee.
Reason 3: The name on the payment account does not match your OKX verified name If the name on the account you used to pay does not match the name on your OKX identity verification, the seller will not release the crypto, and your P2P function may be suspended for 15 days.
How to check if your action was accepted: After submitting a reorder or appeal, check the order status in the Order Center. If the status changes to "Pending" or "Under Review," your request has been accepted. Keep your phone available. Customer support may contact you through your registered email or in-app message to ask for more materials.
Next step: After submitting a reorder or appeal, check your registered email inbox, including the spam folder. Customer support may email you to request additional materials. If you have not received any reply after 24 hours, go to the Help Center and contact online support with your appeal ticket number.
