Becoming a creator and earning rewards on OKX Orbit is easier than most people think. You do not need to apply or manually sign up for a creator rewards program. The system automatically includes you in that week's reward distribution if it detects that you posted at least one qualifying original crypto-related piece of content during that reward cycle. Rewards are paid in USDT and go directly into your funding account, where you can use them for trading or withdrawals.

Posting: Low Entry Barrier, but Rules Are Not Loose
Orbit posts can be market analysis, trading views, project research, on-chain data breakdowns, or market commentary. Content can be posted directly on Orbit or automatically synced from X (Twitter), but the two have different weights in reward calculations.
Posts published natively on Orbit carry higher weight. The official team clearly encourages creators to post directly on Orbit because native content gets priority when recommended to the community. Posts auto-synced from X are still eligible for rewards, but their weight is lowered.
The reward cycle runs weekly, from Sunday 16:00 UTC to the following Sunday 15:59 UTC. You need to publish at least one original crypto-related post in each cycle, excluding X auto-synced content, and that post must still be live when rewards are settled. If the post is deleted, hidden, or taken down, you may lose eligibility for that cycle.
Some behaviors will directly cause you to lose that week's rewards, and in serious cases may lead to permanent disqualification: adding irrelevant cashtags or hashtags, using follow-for-follow or like-for-like schemes, faking trade screenshots or exaggerating returns, and spamming irrelevant follow requests in other people's comment sections.
The number of posts is not the deciding factor for reward size. The official FAQ specifically answers the question of why someone posted a lot but earned very little: rewards depend on the quality of users interacting with your content, community activity, and the depth of your relationship with followers. Only genuine interactions count.
Live Streaming: A Separate Process from Posting
Live streaming is currently available on the OKX web platform. The entry point is okx.com/livestream/dashboard. After entering the dashboard, set your stream title, description, and topic, then click start to go live. Your followers will receive a notification.
If you need more professional streaming setup, such as using OBS, you can choose to create a stream key on the live settings page and paste the key and stream URL into external software. You can stop the stream on OKX or in the external software. If you only stop it in the external software, the Orbit-side stream will pause first, and it will automatically end if paused for more than 10 minutes.
Live streaming itself does not directly enter the creator reward pool calculation. Orbit's creator rewards program currently targets posted content and evaluates post interaction quality. The value of live streaming lies in real-time engagement, expanding your audience, and building follower relationships, which can indirectly affect your post interaction data. If you are interested in live tips or dedicated streaming rewards, you need to check the live page separately to see whether there is a corresponding activity announcement.
Receiving Rewards: No Action Needed, Check Creator Center After Arrival
You do not need to do any claiming action. The system automatically sends USDT to your funding account every Wednesday after the reward cycle ends.
To check your earnings in the app: go to the Orbit homepage, tap the avatar in the top left corner, select Creator Center, and in the Earnings section you can see the total reward amount you have received.
There are four common reasons you may not receive a reward for a given week: your account had an Orbit community violation during the cycle; your post was hidden, taken down, or deleted; the calculated reward amount for that cycle was below 5 USDT, since amounts below the threshold are not paid; or you did not meet the requirement of at least one native post. If you are sure you posted content but did not receive a reward, check these four items first.
Boundaries You Need to Know
The creator rewards pool is nearly 100,000 USDT per month, distributed weekly. This was the scale announced when the program launched in April 2026. OKX reserves the right to adjust the size of the reward pool, scoring algorithm, and distribution formula at any time. Rewards are discretionary and do not constitute a guarantee.
If you mainly do live streaming rather than posting, live streaming currently does not directly participate in creator reward calculations. If you are looking for live tips or dedicated streamer incentives, you need to check whether OKX Live has separate activity rules. That is a different system from Orbit posting rewards.
