Just finished registering and opened the app, but after searching for a while you still can't see the "Funding Account" entry. You're not looking in the wrong place—the platform just uses a different name. On OKX, the "Funding Account" is located on the [Assets] page at the bottom of the app, and it exists by default once you complete registration.

It's Not Called "Funding Account"—It's Called "Assets"
Most new users can't find it because they search for the term "Funding Account" in the app. But in OKX's interface design, the Funding Account is not a separate entry. It is the default account shown on the [Assets] page.
Guide: Find the default page where your assets are stored.
Steps: Open the OKX app, look at the bottom navigation bar, and tap the [Assets] icon in the middle. The total asset number you see on that page is the balance in your Funding Account.
When you deposit crypto, leave it sitting on the platform, or want to withdraw crypto, this is the page where you do it.
Know the Difference: Funding Account vs Trading Account
OKX divides all assets into several accounts based on "purpose." The two most important ones are:

Key difference: Right after you register, what you see when you tap [Assets] is the Funding Account. Deposited assets are stored here by default. If you want to trade (for example, open a futures position), you need to first transfer funds from the "Funding Account" to the "Trading Account." If you don't transfer and try to place an order directly, the system will show "insufficient margin"—because the money is in the Funding Account, and the Trading Account can't see it.

Confirm You're on the Right Page
Guide: Confirm that you have entered the Funding Account page.
Steps: After tapping [Assets], the top of the page shows [Total Asset Valuation] and an asset trend chart. Scroll down to see the coins you hold and their amounts. As long as you can see this page, you are in the Funding Account.
Completion standard: The page shows your total asset balance and a list of specific coins.
Common reason for confusion: New users have a Funding Account by default after registration—no extra activation is needed. If the page shows zero assets, it's because you haven't deposited anything yet, not because the account isn't activated.
