Before you do anything, verify this at the source (another exchange or your Web3 wallet): Which network holds your USDC? If you don't know this, you can't proceed safely.
Step 1: Get Your USDC Deposit Address on OKX
What to do: Log in to OKX, find the USDC deposit section, select the deposit network, and copy the address.
How to do it:
App: Bottom menu [Assets] → [Deposit] → search "USDC"
Web: [Assets] → [Deposit] → search USDC
The system will show a list of available deposit networks (Ethereum, Solana, TRON, etc.). Each network has a different address.
When are you done? Once you've selected a network, the corresponding deposit address is displayed, and you've copied it.
⚠️ Choosing the network is the dividing line for fund safety. If you pick Ethereum (ERC-20), you must send USDC from an Ethereum address. If you pick Solana, send from a Solana address. The address and the network must match exactly.
Step 2: Initiate the Transfer from the Source
What to do: From wherever you hold USDC (another exchange or a Web3 wallet), send the funds to the address from Step 1.
How to do it:
Case A – Withdrawing USDC from another exchange to OKX
Log in to the source exchange → go to [Withdraw] → select USDC
Paste the OKX deposit address you copied in Step 1
The network you select must be identical to the one you chose on OKX (for example, if OKX used Solana, the source exchange withdrawal must also use the Solana network)
Enter the amount and submit the withdrawal request

Step 3: Confirm the Deposit
What to do: Check the deposit status on OKX.
How to do it:
Go to [Assets] → [Deposit History] to see the status
Or copy the TxID and look it up on the corresponding blockchain explorer
When are you done? Your USDC balance on the OKX Assets page has increased, and the status shows "Completed".
Common Reasons for Failure
Network mismatch: This is the most frequent cause of USDC deposit failures. USDC exists on multiple chains. If you selected an Ethereum deposit address on OKX but sent the funds from a Solana network, the funds won't arrive automatically.
Insufficient gas fees: When transferring from a wallet, if you don't have the required gas token for that network (ERC-20 USDC needs ETH, Solana needs SOL), the transaction will be stuck.
Below the minimum deposit amount: OKX's deposit page shows a minimum deposit limit. Sending less than that may not be credited.
Risk Reminder
Using the wrong network is the hardest mistake to reverse. Once sent, the recovery process is extremely complicated and not guaranteed. Before every transfer, double-check the address and the network three times.

How to Verify Everything Is Correct
After depositing, open OKX [Assets], search USDC, and check whether your available balance has increased by the expected amount.
Then check [Deposit History] for this transaction — if it's "Completed", the funds are ready to use; if "Pending", it will update automatically once enough on-chain confirmations are reached.
If it hasn't arrived after 30 minutes, use the TxID to look it up on a blockchain explorer. If the chain shows success but OKX hasn't credited it, provide the TxID to OKX customer support for assistance.
