How to Deposit CFX on OKX? Conflux Funding Tutorial

You have completed identity verification (KYC) on OKX, otherwise the deposit entry will not be available.
You already hold CFX in another exchange or wallet, and you know how to initiate a withdrawal.
Steps
Scenario A: Deposit CFX from an external wallet or another exchange to OKX
Get your OKX CFX deposit address: Open the OKX app or website, click [Assets] - [Deposit]. Search for "CFX" and the system will show the supported network options. Select the exact same network you are using on the sending platform — usually Conflux mainnet (CFX native chain) or ERC-20. Copy the deposit address generated.
Confirm network match: This is the most critical step. CFX supports multiple networks (e.g., Conflux native chain, ERC-20, etc.). When depositing, you must ensure the network displayed on OKX is exactly the same as the network chosen on the withdrawal platform. If the sender uses Conflux native chain, you must select the Conflux mainnet address on OKX; if the sender goes through the Ethereum ecosystem, choose the ERC-20 network address on OKX.
Initiate transfer on the sending platform: Go to where your CFX is stored (e.g., another exchange or wallet) and select "Withdraw" or "Send". Paste the address copied in step 1 into the recipient address field. After verifying the network selection is correct, enter the amount, confirm the miner fee, and submit the transaction.
When is it considered complete?: When the sending platform shows "Withdrawal successful" and generates a TxID (transaction hash).
Scenario B: Buy CFX with funds on OKX
First, make sure your OKX account has USDT or fiat balance. If not, go to the [Buy Crypto] page to fund your account.
Go to [Trade] - [Spot Trading], search for "CFX", and select the CFX/USDT trading pair.
Enter the amount you wish to buy. A market order will be filled instantly, while a limit order will be placed and wait to be filled.
When is it considered complete?: The order status shows "Filled" and your CFX balance increases on the [Assets] page.
Key difference: Memo is not something you need to worry about with CFX
Unlike coins that require a Memo such as EOS, XRP, or HBAR, when depositing CFX you only need to provide the address. There is no Memo or Tag input field. You don't need to copy an extra string of numbers into a remarks field — the process is simpler than those coins.
Common failure reasons and risk reminders
Common failure reason: Wrong network selected. This is the number one cause for CFX deposits not arriving. Depositing CFX from Conflux native chain to an ERC-20 address, or vice versa, will not automatically credit the funds. Manual intervention by customer support is required. An incorrect network can lead to irreversible loss.
Risk reminder: OKX generally gives each user a fixed CFX deposit address, but it is recommended to revisit the deposit page every time before depositing to confirm that CFX deposit and withdrawal services have not been suspended due to network upgrades. Also, each token's deposit address is unique. Never use another token's address to receive CFX.

How to confirm your operation is correct
After the transfer is completed, open OKX [Assets] - [Funding History] and filter for CFX. If you see a record showing "Deposit pending" or "Deposit successful", it means the network and address were entered correctly and the funds have entered the OKX system. The arrival time depends on network congestion, usually from a few minutes to a few hours. If the TxID shows "Success" on a block explorer for more than one hour but OKX does not display the incoming funds, contact OKX customer support with the TxID and a screenshot of the deposit record.
